AI Transformation Lead

TLDR: We’re looking for top 1%, high agency, AI-forward transformation leads to be part of our early team at Resonance in Berlin. We have recently raised one of the largest ever European seed rounds, with investment from Anthropic and Hg Capital, to deploy AI into the economy and rebuild businesses for the AI era. You’ll work at the frontier and solve real problems in an environment that champions ownership, autonomy and innovation at pace.

Who we are

Resonance is an applied AI company. We have recently raised one of the largest ever European seed rounds, with investment from Anthropic and Hg Capital. Our mission is to close the AI diffusion gap and rebuild businesses for the AI era. We're looking to hire Europe’s elite AI talent, and we're building our Berlin hub to serve clients across Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Why now

We believe the economic diffusion of AI is the major challenge of the next decade. Foundation models are advancing far faster than organisations can absorb them; the bottleneck is embedding AI deeply into the core processes of a company to drive an inflection in pace and create organisational advantage. Europe is falling behind on AI, and we exist to help its businesses build real, defensible advantage from it rather than simply adopting it.

The role

As an AI Transformation Lead in Berlin, you’ll work on our most ambitious client engagements across DACH, helping leading businesses redefine themselves through AI. You’ll own major workstreams alongside a Senior AI Transformation Lead and the AI engineers who build with you. You’ll map how a business runs its key processes, find where AI fundamentally changes the economics, and redesign them agentic-first rather than bolting AI onto today’s process. You’ll prototype the new workflows yourself with Claude Code or similar, build the analysis behind the business case, and track the productivity or revenue each build delivers once it’s live. You’ll lead the change on the ground by training users, running workshops and helping people work in entirely new ways. What you learn shapes our products, platform and playbooks, so every engagement is faster and more ambitious than the last, and as one of our first 100 you’ll help shape how Resonance hires, operates and grows in DACH.

What we’re looking for: You have extreme agency, operate with urgency, and have consistently been among the top performers wherever you’ve been, at university or at work. You typically have up to four years in consulting, PE, banking, strategy, operations or a high-growth startup. You structure complex problems quickly and back your arguments with data. You’re a builder with a deep understanding of technology. You don’t need to write production code, but you use AI every day, build with it yourself (prototype workflows, agents, internal tools), know what models can and can’t do, and hold your own with engineers. You’re as comfortable with a client’s managers as with the operators doing the work. PE portfolio or value creation experience, exposure to software or services businesses, and German for client work in DACH are a plus. If you don’t tick every box, apply anyway.

What we offer: Competitive total compensation plus equity. Frontier AI work with real stakes, driving tangible outcomes for consequential companies. Learning from people who have embedded AI into 50+ businesses, with scope that grows as fast as your impact. A team built to be one of the most talent-dense in Europe, and the chance to shape how the firm delivers and grows in Berlin as an early joiner. A chance to help close Europe’s AI gap, moving European businesses to the right side of the productivity chasm.

Logistics: Berlin, 3+ days a week in the office or at client sites, mostly in DACH and Europe. English is our working language; German is a plus. We can sponsor visas for eligible candidates, and start dates are flexible.

Apply

Send your CV and a short note on a problem you're proudest of solving and the impact it had.

We hire people from every background and judge them on what they've built. If you don't tick every box, apply anyway.
