Our international team of 180 professionals works from five locations: Spankeren (NL), Berlin (DE), Verona (IT) and Seoul (KR).

Your tasks

Your roleYou oversight the accounting operation, prepare financial analyses and reports, advise management on strategic financial issues and help manage risks. You will report directly to Finance Director and work closely with 4 accountant colleagues from the financial departments in the Netherlands and Germany.Your main tasks are:- Setting up and maintaining the accounting organisation, procedures and systems, and taking ownership of the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closing process.

• Preparation of (consolidated) monthly, quarterly and annual reports.
• Ensuring compliance with local Gaap standard as well as IFRS, tax laws and regulations, including tax filings.
• Monitoring financial processes, verifying financial data accuracy and optimizing internal controls.
• Verifying monthly payroll and identifying and mitigating financial risks in business processes.
• Supporting sales and subsidiary control, and supply chain/operations control, to monitor performance.
• Assisting with the annual budget, developing financial forecasts and monitoring budgetary performance.
• Supervising (international) audits and liaising with external auditors and tax advisory.

What do you take with you?

• Completed college or university education in Finance, Business Economics, Accountancy or

similar.

• At least 5 years of relevant work experience, preferably in a professional accounting firm or in finance within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with consolidated reports and financial statements.
• Good knowledge of Dutch (or German) GAAP and IFRS reporting standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication skills.
• Creative, flexible and resilient, with a proactive, hands-on mentality and a strong sense of responsibility.
• Fluent command of English and German. Dutch is a plus.
• Knowledge and experience with Microsoft NAV / Business Central and Qlik.
• Willingness to travel
