Hey!
Imagine amateur football finally had the platform it deserves. Every weekend, millions of people write their own personal football stories – on pitches, in clubs and on the sidelines. We believe this passion deserves a digital home too. That's exactly what we're building every single day.
tl;dr
We're looking for a Chief of Staff who works closely with Nik to structurally build out our company- & org processes.
Main information
- Start: immediately (flexible start)
- Location: Cologne
- Workload: Full-time
- Team: Founder's Office
Is this a match?
The most important basics – so we both know if it could work.
- Location: You’ll be based at our office in Cologne (Belgisches Viertel) and should be on site at least twice a week.
- Experience: You have 5–8 years of experience in strategy & operations and feel confident in your role.
- Languages are no problem: You speak German and English fluently.
- Your connection to football: You're genuinely interested in amateur football and have a feel for what moves this community.
- Start-up spirit: You prefer to play an active part in shaping things rather than just going through the motions – even if that sometimes means tackling things without a ready-made roadmap.
What you'll do - your playing field
This is how you move our mission forward every day.
- End-to-end ownership of selected strategic and operational projects from concept to execution
- Building and continuously improving central company processes
- Close collaboration with Nik on cross-functional strategic projects and prioritization
- Supporting process optimization in other operational areas as needed
- Preparing decision-making materials and analyses for the founder team
What you bring to the team
We're not looking for a perfect CV. But you should recognise yourself in these points.
- Strong process- and structure-oriented thinking, even in ambiguity
- Experience independently executing projects in a fast-growing environment
- Tools: Notion, project management tool, Google Workspace, Slack
Good to know
We want you to know what this role really looks like from day one.
- This role is significantly more hands-on than the title might suggest: you don't just plan, you execute, and take ownership across shifting topic areas. The exact focus will be sharpened further together with the team. If you're looking for pure strategy work without hands-on execution, this role isn't for you.
Bonus
Not a must – but this'll definitely earn you extra points.
- Experience in a high-growth startup
- Early experience building People/org processes

- Remote work - depending on your distance to the office, you work 1–3 days a week onsite and the rest flexibly remote - whatever suits you best. Tech & Product roles sometimes offer 100% remote.
- Three cool offices in Cologne, Berlin, and London - true startup vibes to work and grow together. Want to visit another office? We support that too!
- Remote, even from afar - Whether it’s a week of sunshine abroad or a few days with family - we allow flexible work from outside your usual location.
- Team events at our locations - Whether after work in Cologne, Berlin, or London: we regularly bring teams together to connect and grow stronger.
- Offsites with the whole team - Four days out of the daily grind with the entire team: trips, brainstorming, onsite collaboration, and real team spirit.
