Your tasks

In a Nutshell:

We are seeking a motivated and commercially minded Digital Marketing Manager to join our team. This role combines digital marketing strategy, client consultation, campaign management, performance analysis, and service delivery, with a focus on driving results and commercial growth.

You will support the commercial development and delivery of Digital Marketing services to member hotels, working closely with the Account Management team and internal stakeholders. As a trusted digital marketing consultant, you will provide strategic advice across advertising, email marketing, promotional campaigns, and other digital channels, tailored to each client’s needs and objectives.

The role combines strategic planning, client-facing consultation, multichannel campaign execution, and performance optimization, with opportunities to contribute to new digital services and innovation initiatives. You will also oversee the B2C newsletter calendar and supervise and support the Digital Marketing Intern, while contributing to the department’s commercial performance and wider business objectives.

Tasks & Responsibilities:

• Execute the sale and delivery of digital marketing services to member hotels in collaboration with the Account Management team. Initially supporting the process, with the opportunity to progressively increase ownership based on performance.
• Act as a confident and credible speaker with external stakeholders, providing well-founded hospitality marketing advice tailored to each client’s needs, objectives, and business context.
• Provide informed consultation across digital marketing disciplines, including advertising, email marketing, and promotional campaigns, advising on relevant KPIs, performance expectations, and opportunities for optimization.
• Oversee the delivery of digital marketing services in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Intern, and work with the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing & Analytics to develop and introduce innovative services year on year.
• Contribute to the department’s commercial performance, service revenue, and wider business objectives.
• Coordinate the planning, creation, production, and execution of multichannel digital campaigns across designhotels.com, social media, acquisition channels, and email marketing.
• Monitor, analyze, and optimize campaign performance, proactively identifying insights, opportunities, and innovative approaches to improve results, efficiency, and processes.
• Oversee campaign and service performance reporting, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of relevant KPIs and translating results into clear insights, actionable recommendations, and optimization opportunities for member hotels.
• Contribute strategic input to new digital projects, initiatives, and innovation across designhotels.com and the wider business.
• Collaborate cross-departmentally on larger brand activations and initiatives led by other teams, ensuring digital marketing activities, channels, and customer communications are aligned with the overall objectives and brand strategy.
• Support the development and implementation of the CRM communication strategy in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing & Analytics and CRM Specialist, contributing to customer engagement, retention, and commercial objectives.
• Own and manage the B2C newsletter calendar, ensuring effective planning, cross-team coordination, relevant content, and timely campaign execution.

Leadership:

• Supervise and support the Digital Marketing Intern, including onboarding, day-to-day guidance, regular feedback, performance support, and professional development.
• Contribute to the recruitment and selection process for Digital Marketing Interns, in collaboration with the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing & Analytics.

Qualifications & Skills:

• 3–5 years of experience in digital marketing or a related role, ideally within the hospitality or travel industry.
• Strong analytical skills, with hands-on experience using GA4 and other reporting and analytics tools to assess customer behavior, campaign performance, and business impact.
• Strong understanding of the digital landscape and hospitality industry, with familiarity across CMS platforms, websites, digital customer journeys, and key digital marketing channels.
• Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with experience coordinating cross-functional teams and overseeing the delivery of strategic digital initiatives.
• Confident client-facing communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate marketing data and expertise into clear, commercially relevant advice.
• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills.
