Your profile

• 5+ years logistics operational experience on the customer side OR 2+ years logistics procurement experience on the customer side
• Completed degree, e.g. in business administration, economics or a comparable qualification related to procurement is a benefit, but not a requirement
• You combine commercial clarity with empathy and are able to bring different perspectives together, balancing business needs, operational requirements and supplier interests.
• You communicate openly, honestly and reliably, both internally and externally
• You negotiate confidently and consistently while remaining fair and respectful
• Business-fluent German and English skills

Our team:

Group Procurement is a newly established organisation within the DLG Group, with the purpose of creating greater transparency, collaboration and optimisation across the supplier landscape of our various business entities. Within Group Procurement, Logistics is defined as a separate category, and this position will work closely with the newly appointed Category Lead for Logistics.

As our new Procurement Specialist (m/f/d), you will be part of this journey from the beginning, giving you a unique opportunity to help shape how the DLG Group works with its logistics suppliers in the future. You will have the opportunity to build relationships across the organisation, establish new ways of working and turn the logistics procurement strategy into tangible results.
