Senior Growth Analyst, User Acquisition

Who we are

JustWatch delivers data-driven digital marketing for the global entertainment business, from the biggest blockbusters to award-winning shows, major sporting events and best-selling console games. We also own the world's largest streaming guide, giving us unique insights into audience behaviours and content tastes.

From a small startup, we've evolved into a team of more than 200 people, based in Berlin, around the world or working remotely. We've built a profitable business while continuing to grow.

Who we need

We are looking for a Senior Growth Analyst with at least 3 years of experience in user acquisition or performance marketing analytics. You will support growth across JustWatch TV and our streaming guide, with the main focus on JustWatch TV.

You will partner with our marketing, campaign, product and Business Intelligence teams to understand which acquisition activity brings valuable users, improve confidence in measurement and testing, and turn findings into budget and campaign decisions.

What you will be doing

• Analyse user acquisition performance across channels, markets and audiences, and recommend where to scale, adjust or stop spending.
• Develop our attribution approach and interpret MMP and ad platform reporting. Work with BI and technical teams to define conversion events, validate tracking and resolve data discrepancies. You will lead analytical requirements and validation; technical teams own implementation.
• Analyse acquisition cohorts, activation, retention, subscription conversion and revenue alongside LTV, CAC, ROAS and payback periods. Make assumptions explicit and use findings to guide acquisition and bidding targets.
• Design and evaluate A/B tests, holdouts and incrementality tests with the marketing team. Distinguish attributed conversions from incremental impact and turn findings into practical recommendations.
• Build benchmarks, forecasts, dashboards and efficient reporting to guide planning, budgets and growth targets, working with BI to keep KPI definitions consistent and data reliable.
• Support selected client campaign analyses and communicate findings clearly to stakeholders, prioritising work that improves decisions and performance.

What we need from you

• Essential experience
• At least 3 years of experience in user acquisition or performance marketing analytics, ideally in an app, subscription or digital consumer business.
• A strong understanding of mobile analytics, including attribution, conversion events, measurement limitations and discrepancies between data sources.
• An understanding of paid acquisition channels such as Meta, TikTok and Google, their optimisation goals and performance metrics.
• Experience analysing acquisition funnels, retention cohorts and unit economics to assess user value beyond installs or initial conversions.
• Confident working with spreadsheets, BI tools and data from multiple sources.
• The ability to turn complex findings into clear recommendations, challenge assumptions constructively and prioritise independently.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Useful extras

• Hands-on experience with mobile measurement partners such as AppsFlyer or Adjust.
• Experience designing and evaluating A/B tests, holdouts or incrementality tests.
• SQL or Python.
• Experience with CTV app measurement, ASO or CRM and lifecycle analytics.
• German language skills.

What we offer you

• An open-minded, international team that enjoys collaborating to reach shared goals.
• Meaningful work, opportunities for personal growth and the chance to make a lasting impact.
• A permission-less environment where you can take ownership and focus on delivering value without unnecessary complexity.
• Trust in your expertise and judgement, with room to improve how we work and bring new ideas.
• A collaborative and supportive environment that helps you achieve your personal and professional goals.
• A flexible hybrid working environment, with no requirement to come to the office.
