Introduction

As the top Swiss e-commerce platform, with a crew of over 4'000 across Switzerland, Germany, and Serbia, Galaxus is poised to move into new markets. Our driving force is our determination to keep challenging the status quo. That’s why we’re on the lookout for characters who’re passionate about making genuine improvements. We’ll give you the freedom and trust to make an impact, to grow with us and to be yourself. Act galactic. Be you. Be you.

Your tasks

As a Site Coordinator / Operations Project Manager, this role acts as the central point of contact for all site-related projects. Responsibility includes the safe, efficient, and cost-effective planning and execution of projects at site ON1. The position requires excellent organizational skills to ensure that logistics projects are completed on time and meet the highest quality standards.

In Neuenburg am Rhein, two new logistics centers with more than 90,000 sqm of warehouse space are currently being built. For our Operations Center 1 (30,000 sqm), we are looking for a Site Coordinator / Operations Project Manager for operational logistics.

Overall responsibility for small and medium-sized logistics projects, ensuring successful implementation
During the concept phase, conducting detailed research, analysis, and cost calculations. Preparing decision-relevant information for the Site Lead and presenting it clearly and convincingly

In the implementation phase, ensuring smooth coordination and collaboration between all involved and affected departments. Managing internal and external stakeholders, resource and timeline planning, as well as project controlling to guarantee target achievement and performance monitoring

Actively contributing to solution development by combining analytical and technical expertise to create added value

Supporting other project managers in additional projects and leading sub-projects outside of ON1 when required

Strong analytical skills, supported by relevant education or further training in Project Management, Facility Management, or Supply Chain Management
A technical background with initial experience as a project manager, ideally in logistics and/or infrastructure projects
A solution-oriented and pragmatic mindset, combined with hands-on involvement to drive projects to success
The ability to communicate openly and effectively with different stakeholders, bringing discussions and differing opinions to a shared consensus
Very good written and spoken communication skills in German or French, as well as English
Taking calculated risks to create value and drive growth
Aligning actions and decisions with personal beliefs and values

Values, not empty words: Cooperative, innovative, piratesque, responsible, ambitious – these five values are what we practise and preach.
Courageous thinking: We encourage everyone to think on their feet, and love it when they come up with bold or edgy ideas.
Uncomplicated approach: Simplicity is at our core. We avoid the unnecessary and focus on what really matters – from overcoming challenges to celebrating our shared successes.
Flexibility and freedom: Every position is possible with an 80% workload.
Rapid growth: With us, growth is a continuous journey. We also support you with EDU points (1600 € and 2000 minutes) per year for your professional development so there’s no risk of you getting stuck in a rut.
28 days of holiday, exclusive employee conditions in our online shop, a shuttle service and other benefits.

Diversity is our culture.

To build the best team, we want to draw from the full spectrum of talent out there. This means people from all walks of life have the same opportunities with us, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, disability status, gender identity, sexual orientation or age. We believe true inclusion means everyone is welcome and each contribution is valuable.
