The role

As a Consultative Seller and Strategic B2B Advisor (m/f/d/x), you are a senior sales and consulting professional who develops strategic new business with key prospective and existing customers. You connect business strategy and customer challenges with the Magenta portfolio to create measurable value propositions and business cases. Together with account management and expert teams, you will guide complex opportunities from the initial idea through to close. Your responsibilities in detail:

• Identify, qualify and develop strategic growth opportunities, new business and new buying centres within assigned customer accounts.
• Lead executive discovery by analysing business models, strategy, markets, competition, pain points and transformation goals.
• Develop tailored sales and deal strategies, as well as value stories that consistently connect technology with business outcomes.
• Work with customers to develop and quantify business cases, for example in terms of revenue, costs, productivity, risk and speed.
• Build strong relationships with executive and C-level decision-makers and steadily expand stakeholder networks.
• Coordinate account management, specialist sales, presales, solution architects, partners and other experts across complex sales teams.
• Manage proposals, presentations, decision documents and opportunity reporting; transparently document customer structures, needs and next steps.

Your profile

In addition to a degree in business, engineering or computer science—or a comparable qualification—you have several years of successful experience in enterprise B2B sales, consultative or value selling, business consulting, or new business development in a large corporate environment. You also bring:

• A strong understanding of business models, transformation and commercial factors, as well as experience translating customer value into ROI and business value
• A proven track record of closing complex B2B opportunities, working with buying centres and building C-level relationships
• Strong knowledge of the ICT and telecommunications sectors, with a broad business and technology perspective rather than a focus on a single product
• Confidence engaging with top management, along with strong discovery, storytelling, negotiation and coordination skills
• A customer-focused, proactive approach, with very good German and good English skills
