We are looking for a Senior Associate to join our highly regarded Corporate Tax team and be based in either our Bristol or London office.

In the UK the eight partner Tax Group covers four teams - Corporate Tax, Incentives, Private Wealth and Tax Litigation. The practice

Our Corporate Tax team is a strong, three partner team which operates as one team with lawyers currently based in London and Bristol. As one team spread across offices, we are used to being agile and support flexible working practices. We also work closely with colleagues within Osborne Clarke including our international offices and especially from our private equity, funds, corporate, real estate, projects, and banking teams.

The team enjoys a varied and quality work load for mainly UK mid-market and international clients. We provide our clients with tailored UK and cross-border tax advice that helps them meet their business objectives and our work ranges from stand-alone tax advisory mandates to transaction linked advice. We undertake complex tax structuring mandates particularly for funds, real estate, private equity and corporate clients. Our reputation is for giving technically excellent advice that is commercial and user-friendly regardless of whether we are providing strategic support or working under pressure on a transaction.

The team is pro-active and forward looking, an approach which generates significant advisory work for the team and allows team members to develop specialisms in areas of interest. We seek to build strong and long lasting relationships with clients and colleagues. We are closely aligned to Osborne Clarke's sector strategies and particularly active, with strong client relationships, within the areas and sectors of Technology, Media and Telecommunications; the Built Environment; Financial Services; Energy and Energy Transition and Life Sciences and Healthcare.

The team

The Corporate Tax team is currently made up of 3 Partners, 1 Legal Director, 8 lawyers, 1 Trainee Solicitor, 1 Solicitor Apprentice and two dedicated Knowledge Lawyers.

Your tasks

• Beratung von Mandanten in komplexen Unternehmenssteuerfragen
• Erstellung und Prüfung von Körperschaftsteuererklärungen und anderen Steueranmeldungen
• Begleitung von Betriebsprüfungen und Unterstützung bei der Kommunikation mit Finanzbehörden
• Analyse und Bewertung steuerlicher Sachverhalte sowie Identifizierung von Optimierungspotenzialen
• Mitarbeit an nationalen und internationalen Steuerstrukturierungen und M&A-Transaktionen

Technical skills and experience

• Eine abgeschlossene Ausbildung als Fachkraft für Lagerlogistik oder eine mehrjährige Berufserfahrung ist wünschenswert
• Fahrausweis für Flurförderfahrzeuge erforderlich
• Erfahrung im Umgang mit Flurförderfahrzeugen von Vorteil
• Zuverlässige und sorgfältige Arbeitsweise
• Bereitschaft zur Schichtarbeit
• Teamfähigkeit und Verantwortungsbewusstsein
