Accounting Manager Germany (m/f/d)

Profile

• Hands-on mindset with the ability to balance operational tasks (e.g., journal entries) with guiding and supporting less experienced colleagues
• Strong expertise in accounting fundamentals, particularly HGB and US GAAP
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal, collaboration and leadership skills

High level of integrity and ethical standards in all business activities

• Project Management experience
• Strong motivation to continuously learn, develop, and grow professionally

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics from an accredited university
• More than 10 years of experience with HGB and US GAAP, preferably at a multinational company
• Fluent in German language with good English language skills
• Strong SAP expertise (especially FICO) and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• In-depth experience with Hyperion/HFM
• Proven expertise in technical accounting with a strong command of HGB (statutory) and US GAAP.
• Experience managing external and internal audits including preparation of statutory financial statements (notes and management report)
• Ability to anticipate, identify and resolve complex accounting issues.

• Hands-on accounting and organizational experience, including coordination with multiple teams / projects simultaneously.
• Process oriented and strong data management skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global, and matrix organization, with a high level of adaptability to change
• High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism, combined with a positive and proactive attitude.
• Ability to manage large volumes of datasets.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
