Senior Sales & Business Development Manager, Asia-Pacific (m/f/x)

Your way into the future

Shape the Future of Global Connectivity

At Mynaric, we're building the optical fiber for the skies.

As a pioneer in laser communications, we develop cutting-edge technology that enables ultra-fast, secure, and reliable data transmission between satellites, aircraft, drones, and terrestrial platforms. Our solutions are helping shape the future of aerospace, defense, and global communications networks.

We are looking for an ambitious and commercially driven  Senior Sales & Business Development Manager, Asia-Pacific to accelerate our growth across one of the world's most dynamic aerospace and defense markets.

This is more than a sales role.

You will be the driving force behind expanding Mynaric's presence across Asia-Pacific, developing strategic customer relationships, identifying major business opportunities, and transforming qualified prospects into long-term partnerships. You will engage directly with senior executives, government stakeholders, defense organizations, system integrators, and innovative commercial space companies that are shaping the future of connectivity.

Just as importantly, you will remain actively involved after contract award, working closely with our Customer Project Manager and  Project Leads to ensure customer expectations, program execution, and business objectives remain aligned throughout the customer journey.

If you are energized by complex sales cycles, strategic customer engagement, international business growth, and working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and mission-critical programs, this role offers a unique opportunity to make a lasting impact.

What awaits you at Mynaric

Drive Growth Across Asia-Pacific

You will be responsible for identifying, developing, and securing new business opportunities across government, defense, aerospace, satellite, and commercial markets throughout the region.

By building a deep understanding of customer priorities, market trends, and competitive landscapes, you will position Mynaric's solutions to solve critical challenges and create long-term value for our customers.

Build Trusted Customer Relationships

You will develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, program leaders, procurement organizations, engineers, and executive stakeholders.

Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help customers understand how Mynaric's technology can support their strategic and operational objectives while creating opportunities for sustainable business growth.

Partner with Customers Throughout the Entire Lifecycle

Unlike traditional sales roles, your involvement does not end at contract signature.

You will work closely with the Customer Project Manager and Project Leads to support successful program execution, facilitate customer communications, participate in program reviews, and ensure alignment between contractual commitments, delivery milestones, and customer expectations.

Your ability to maintain trust during execution will be critical in driving customer satisfaction, repeat business, and long-term partnerships.

Lead Complex Sales and Capture Activities

You will own opportunities from initial market engagement through qualification, proposal development, negotiation, contract award, and expansion.

Working alongside Sales Engineering, Engineering, Product Management, Program Management, and Executive Leadership, you will develop winning strategies that differentiate Mynaric and maximize customer value.

Influence the Future of Our Business

As the voice of the customer within Mynaric, you will bring market insights, competitive intelligence, and customer feedback back into the organization to shape product development, strategic decision-making, and future growth initiatives.
