CMO Partner Manager - Contract Manufacturing (all genders)

YOUR ROLE

As our CMO Partner Manager (all genders), you will serve as the strategic interface between our internal teams (R&D, Quality, Operations) and external manufacturing partners. You will own your product categories end-to-end - securing product availability, driving cost efficiency, and leveraging external manufacturing intelligence to spark innovation within our supply chain.

• Drive Security of Supply: Guarantee product availability and eliminate stockouts through proactive risk management, robust capacity planning, and flawless data tracking (ETAs).
• Manage & Scale Partner Networks: Continuously screen the market for new manufacturing capabilities, onboard strategic CMO partners, and manage day-to-day partner operations.
• Optimize TCO & Commercials: Build deep market insight into raw material and manufacturing costs to negotiate optimal pricing, terms, and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
• Drive Launch Execution: Direct New Product Introductions (NPI) from concept to market launch, ensuring cross-functional and partner alignment to meet project timelines.
• Champion Quality & Efficiency: Hold partners accountable to strict delivery reliability (OTIF) and swift quality resolution (CAPA), while bringing external best practices back to internal operations.

YOUR PROFILE

• Background & Experience: 5+ years in strategic procurement, category management, or contract manufacturing (CMO) - ideally in dietary supplements, FMCG, food, or pharma. Experience in complex batch manufacturing is a strong plus.
• Strategic & Commercial Acumen: You understand how procurement drives value beyond unit price - leveraging TCO models, raw material cost structures, and smart negotiations to optimize margins.
• Project & Stakeholder Management: Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional initiatives (e.g., NPIs). You excel at bridging internal teams (R&D, Quality, Supply Chain, Accounting, Legal) with external manufacturing partners to keep projects moving.
• Data & Analytical Mindset: Highly data-driven and comfortable with large datasets. You translate operational metrics and spend data into clear priorities, actionable insights, and negotiation leverage.
• Process & System Orientation: You think in scalable systems—capable of refining workflows (P2P, SOPs, partner onboarding) and maintaining data integrity without overengineering processes.
• Tech Stack: Hands-on experience with modern ERP systems (e.g., Odoo or similar MRP), project platforms (e.g., monday.com), and BI tools (e.g., Tableau or Salesforce).
• Language Skills: Fluent in English (C1); German or Polish proficiency is a strong advantage.

Sunday Natural emerged from a long-standing passion and research in the fields of health, healing, and personal growth. The lack of natural, high-quality products on the market was the original motivation for founding Sunday Natural in 2013. We aim to produce the products we ourselves would love to buy – as natural as possible, absolutely pure, free from any additives, and of the highest quality. In a strategic partnership with CVC, Sunday Natural is now one of Germany's most renowned quality manufacturers, with its own research and development department in Berlin. For the continuous improvement of our products, we collaborate with selected research institutes, scientists, therapists, farmers, and professional associations.

Our diverse team in Berlin consists of over 400 employees from more than 45 nationalities and continues to grow – but at a sustainable pace. Our goal is to foster a collaborative, supportive, and inclusive work environment with a diverse group of motivated, talented, and visionary team members.

We highly value equality of opportunity and inclusivity, and we would like to particularly encourage women and candidates from under-represented backgrounds to apply, even if you don’t match with 100% of the requirements.
