About Us

There are hundreds of thousands of lawyers across Europe — and at Libra, we're transforming how they work. Our AI platform combines deep legal reasoning with cutting-edge generative technology, fundamentally changing how lawyers research, draft, and deliver legal work.

We operate with the speed and ownership of a startup, while being backed by the scale and stability of an established leader. Libra is an independent business unit within the Legal & Regulatory division of Wolters Kluwer, a leading global provider of information, software, and services for professionals. For 180 years, Wolters Kluwer has supported and simplified the work of experts and organizations through innovative solutions, relying today on more than 20,000 colleagues worldwide to bring that vision to life.

About The Role

As a Working Student in Product Management (m/f/d) at Libra, you'll support our Product Managers in building our AI workspace for lawyers. You'll work alongside Product, Engineering and Design, take on real tasks from day one, and see how customer needs turn into shipped features.

This is a unique opportunity to get hands-on product experience in legal tech while you're still studying. You'll work in a lean, agile environment as part of a highly skilled technology organization and a fast-growing team. Based at the vibrant Merantix AI Campus in Berlin, you'll be surrounded by a community of AI innovators.

What you’ll do

Among other things, you'll:

• Support Product Managers in day-to-day delivery, from refining tickets to testing features before release.
• Analyze usage data and customer feedback to help inform prioritization.
• Research competitors and market developments in legal AI.
• Help maintain product documentation and prepare materials for internal teams.
• Take ownership of smaller product topics as you grow into the role.

What you’ll bring

Education

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in a relevant field: technical (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems), Law, Business, or adjacent.

Experience

• First exposure to product management, tech or startups, e.g. through internships, university projects or side projects.
• A basic technical understanding of how software, and ideally AI applications, are built.
• A genuine interest in the legal tech field.
• Comfortable working in English day-to-day; German language skills are a bonus.

Skills

• Structured and detail-oriented. You follow through on tasks and deliver reliable, high-quality work.
• Analytical thinking and comfort working with data.
• Proactive and curious. You ask questions, pick up new topics quickly and don't wait to be told what to do next.
• Team-oriented and eager to learn from the people around you.
• Curious and hands-on with AI tools, and able to apply them pragmatically in your work.
• Excellent communication in English; German is a plus.

Availability

• 20 hours per week during the semester, for at least 3 months, ideally 6 months.

What We Offer

• Real impact: Work on a product used by law firms and legal teams across Europe, and see your contributions go live.
• Learning by doing: Get hands-on product management experience with direct mentoring from our Product team.
• Vibrant workspace: Work from a modern office, surrounded by a community of AI startups, researchers, and innovators at the Merantix AI Campus in Berlin.
• Flexibility: Working hours that fit around your studies and exam periods.

In just over a year, we’ve established ourselves as Europe’s fastest-growing legal AI company by partnering with leading law firms, corporate legal departments, and publishers. As part of Wolters Kluwer’s Legal & Regulatory Division, Libra is building the operating system for modern legal work — and you can help us write its next chapter.

Our Interview Practices

To maintain a fair and genuine hiring process, we kindly ask that all candidates participate in interviews without the assistance of AI tools or external prompts. Our interview process is designed to assess your individual skills, experiences, and communication style. We value authenticity and want to ensure we’re getting to know you—not a digital assistant. To help maintain this integrity, we ask to remove virtual backgrounds and include in-person interviews in our hiring process. Please note that use of AI-generated responses or third-party support during interviews will be grounds for disqualification from the recruitment process.

Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.
