Maintenance Setup & Readiness Lead (f/m/d)

Introduction

As the top Swiss e-commerce platform, with a crew of over 4’000 across Switzerland, Germany, and Serbia, Galaxus is poised to move into new markets. Our driving force is our determination to keep challenging the status quo. That’s why we’re on the lookout for characters who’re passionate about making genuine improvements. We’ll give you the freedom and trust to make an impact, to grow with us and to be yourself. Act galactic. Be you. Be you.

Your tasks

In this role, you will have a rare opportunity: to build the entire maintenance strategy and structure for our new automated logistics facility in Neuenburg am Rhein, from the ground up. From the CMMS to spare parts strategy to shift-ready operations, you will shape it all. If you love creating order out of chaos, this is your playground.

• You build the maintenance strategy from the ground up – preventive, corrective and condition-based
• Design and implement maintenance processes, standards and KPI logic that actually work in practice
• Setup and structuring of the CMMS including maintenance logic and workflows
• The spare parts strategy? Yours to define and roll out
• Get the technical organisation ready for shift operations
• Work hand in hand with Operations – because a logistics facility doesn't launch and work in a silo
• You've built or scaled maintenance structures before – and you know what it takes to get them right

Your skills

• A solid technical background in mechatronics, electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
• You're fluent in both English and German (C1 level each)
• Hands-on experience with CMMS systems and structured maintenance planning
• Ability to build structures in dynamic ramp-up environments
• The capacity to adapt to ongoing changes in the work environment
• Identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing changes to enhance productivity and effectiveness
• Values, not empty words: Cooperative, innovative, piratesque, responsible, ambitious – these five values are what we practise and preach
• Courageous thinking: We encourage everyone to think on their feet, and love it when they come up with bold or edgy ideas
• Uncomplicated approach: Simplicity is at our core.

Why start with us?

• We avoid the unnecessary and focus on what really matters – from overcoming challenges to celebrating our shared successes
• Flexibility and freedom: Every position is possible with an 80% workload
• Rapid growth: With us, growth is a continuous journey. We also support you with EDU points (1600 € or 2000 minutes) per year for your professional development so there’s no risk of you getting stuck in a rut
• 28 days of holiday, exclusive employee conditions in our online shop, a shuttle service and other benefits

Diversity is our culture.

To build the best team, we want to draw from the full spectrum of talent out there. This means people from all walks of life have the same opportunities with us, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, disability status, gender identity, sexual orientation or age.
