Team mission

Our ambition is to expand our market leader position across Europe, the Middle East and Africa - our largest regions. We're looking for an exceptional commercial leader to own and scale our EMEA supply strategy, based in Berlin with regular travel to our local offices across the region.

Reporting to the VP Supply and Sales, you'll take full ownership of commercial performance across EMEA, including P&L responsibility, leading leaders across sales and account management in seven offices. This is as much a people leadership role as a commercial one: you'll develop senior managers, while staying close to the numbers to know exactly where the business stands - and where to move next.

Your mission

• Own supply performance across EMEA, with full P&L responsibility for the Sales organisation in the region
• Expand GetYourGuide's supply coverage and drive new revenue through best-in-class sales execution
• Raise the commercial performance of existing supply partners and secure strategic supply advantages, including preferred terms, through strong account management
• Lead and develop a multi-layered team of sales, account management and supply community management leaders across our EMEA offices in Berlin, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Dubai, London, Paris and Rome
• Coach and grow people managers within your organisation, building a strong bench of future leaders
• Exhibit proactive thought leadership to refine and build the playbook for a world-class sales organisation
• Collaborate with partner teams to help shape the tooling and processes towards an AI-empowered sales organisation
• Represent GetYourGuide at key industry conferences and in meetings with CEOs and senior leaders of major attractions, theme parks and other key supply partners
• Build a healthy, high-performing team culture rooted in GetYourGuide's core values, acting as a role model for personal growth, trust and passion
• Partner closely with Marketing, Operations and other teams to accelerate our growth flywheel

Your toolkit

• Proven track record of consistently exceeding targets in an ambitious, quota-carrying sales environment
• 5+ years in senior commercial leadership roles (Head of, Director or VP), including demonstrated experience leading leaders across multiple markets or locations
• Experience across both new business acquisition and account management/retention
• Background in high-growth marketplace, e-commerce or SaaS businesses
• Strong people leader with a track record of recruiting, developing and retaining top commercial talent
• Entrepreneurial mindset that thrives in scaling, fast-changing environments
• Highly collaborative, low-ego leadership style
• Outstanding communication, negotiation and influencing skills, with a natural ability to build relationships and a win-win mentality
• Data-driven and results-oriented, comfortable owning forecasts and commercial metrics
• Based in Berlin or willing to relocate, and excited to travel regularly (up to 30%) to develop local teams and build relationships across the region

• Prior experience as a General Manager, or an earlier background in consulting
• Deep understanding of the EMEA travel or experiences market and its competitive landscape
• German language skills
• German or other European language skills
