Location: Germany (Hybrid / Remote options available)

Contract Type: Full-Time Employment (Permanent)

Target Group: GIS Analysts, Spatial Planners, Technical Presales, Opportunity Card Holders, and Master's Graduates

About Project IRIS Project IRIS is an applied research initiative dedicated to automated spatial data analysis and infrastructure mapping. We generate complex spatial intelligence daily. To make these abstract algorithmic frameworks tangible for stakeholders, we need experts who can visually translate data into compelling spatial stories and commercial factsheets.

Your Focus & Responsibilities

• Data Translation: Analyze, validate, and visually prepare spatial resilience models and algorithmically generated energy location clusters.
• Web-GIS Mapping: Create interactive map presentations using modern Web-GIS tools (e.g., Kepler.gl, Felt, QGIS) without building custom web applications from scratch.
• Asset Dossiers: Design and automate the generation of clear, visual PDF/HTML factsheets (One-Pagers) for external partners and project developers.
• Cross-Functional Interface: Act as the active bridge between our geospatial data engineering backend and practical market applications.

What We Are Looking For

• Technical Background: Degree in Spatial Planning, Geography, Industrial Engineering, Real Estate, Geoinformatics, or equivalent practical experience.
• Core Technical Skills: Working knowledge of GIS tools (QGIS) and modern Web-GIS platforms. A strong eye for cartographic principles and data design.
• Mindset: High motivation to solve spatial infrastructure challenges and translate complex data into intuitive visuals.
• Eligibility: Open to local applicants and international candidates (Chancenkarte / Opportunity Card supported).
• Languages: Professional working proficiency in English (required); German language skills are a strong plus.

What We Offer

• Full-Time Permanent Employment: Long-term career stability with clear growth trajectories.
• Dual Master / Trainee Track Available: Tailored tracks including academic coordination and complete tuition support.
• Accommodation & Onboarding Package: Structured assistance with local accommodation, official registration, and comprehensive onboarding.
• Visa & Administrative Backing: Dedicated employer support for Opportunity Card conversions and visa applications.
• Direct Mentorship: Close collaboration with experienced technical architects and executive leadership.
