Executive Assistant - Macquarie Group

Join our Coverage and Solutions team in Macquarie Capital supports clients with mergers and acquisitions in Frankfurt. You will join a collaborative team of Executive Assistants, combining high-quality executive and administrative support. Ensuring that the day-to-day support needs of the team operate smoothly and efficiently.

What role will you play?

You will work closely with our mergers and acquisitions department to support senior leaders and their teams, while working closely with our wider team of Executive Assistants to provide seamless coverage across the office. You will manage changing diaries, coordinate meetings across time zones and arrange business travel in line with our policies. You will process expenses, invoices and purchase orders, maintain client records and help prepare documents. Alongside these responsibilities, you will welcome visitors, coordinate guest arrivals and arrange refreshments, catering and support for events. You will also work with our wider support team to keep meeting rooms, lounge and kitchen areas presentable and ready for use.

What you offer

• Experience in Executive Assistant or administrative support experience in investment banking, financial services, professional services or another fast-paced corporate environment, combining diary and international travel management with welcoming guests and maintaining office presentation.
• Ability to organise tasks with attention to detail, anticipate needs and adapt to changing priorities while supporting colleagues across our Executive Assistant team.
• Clear communication skills that allow you to liaise with a range of senior colleagues, clients and visitors, with fluent written and spoken German and English.
• Sound judgement and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information.
• Experienced in using Microsoft Office and business systems. Experience with Salesforce and expense or purchasing systems such as Concur and Coupa is an advantage.
