Key job responsibilities

You will collaborate with different internal stakeholders to learn how to improve a program’s offering and its benefits for our customers. This internship provides an opportunity to collaborate with cross-functional teams, demonstrate project management skills in a competitive and dynamic business climate. You will work on one or several projects with your hiring team in tracking open actions, conduct deep dives, provide data insights, analyse processes to identify critical points and anticipate risks. You will support the team in recommending and executing network improvements. You will contribute with innovative long-term and lasting solutions beneficial for the entire team. Every day is different as a Program Manager Intern. You'll work alongside your dedicated mentor and team on real improvement and innovation projects that support the growth of Amazon's European network. You might spend your morning analysing a large dataset to identify operational bottlenecks, then spend your afternoon aligning with stakeholders across different countries on a project rollout plan. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, track project milestones, and share updates with senior management. Amazon is a data-driven business, so no matter which project you are working on, part of your role will involve extracting insights from data to drive decisions. You'll develop solutions to real operational challenges, test different approaches, and present your findings to leadership — building your analytical, communication, and project management skills in a fast-paced, international environment.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Speak, write, and read fluently in English
• Currently in your penultimate or final year and working towards a university degree with an anticipated graduation date after the completion of your internship.
• Available to commence your Working Student role between January and September 2027. Yes, our start dates are flexible! You should then be available 12 months (20h/week). Working Student length is subject to availability.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel (e.g. macros, pivots, lookups, VBA).
• You will be based in Munich for the duration of the contract.
• Experience working with clients
• Fluent written and verbal communication in German (Level – B2 or higher). Applications with German (Level – B1 or lower) will be also considered.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills, able to collaborate effectively with others.
