Senior Partnerships Manager Germany

About Finom

Finom is a fast-growing European tech startup, headquartered in Amsterdam, on a mission to revolutionize the financial landscape for entrepreneurs globally. We are developing an all-in-one financial B2B solution that seamlessly integrates banking functions, accounting, financial management, and invoicing into a mobile-first platform.

Following a significant €115 million Series C equity round, bringing our total funding to approximately $346 million, we are expanding aggressively across key EU markets (Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain). We go beyond traditional banking, offering invoicing and a growing suite of features, including AI-enabled accounting, to simplify financial management for small and medium-sized businesses.

At Finom you get real ownership, you move fast, and your work directly drives value for our customers, partners, and ultimately the business in our biggest market.

About the Role

As our first (Senior) Partnerships Manager in Germany, you will build our partner ecosystem from the ground up - signing and scaling the partnerships that bring entrepreneurs and SMEs in Germany to Finom.

Reporting directly to the Head of Partnerships, this is an individual contributor role with no direct reports at the outset. You won't be managing an existing channel: you'll be leading our growth in Europe's biggest SME market, and playing a defining role in Finom's next chapter

What You'll Do

• Own the German market. You decide which partners to go after, how to win them, and where to double down. This is your territory - you hunt, you close, you build.
• Sign the deals that move the needle. From conceptualizing the partner profile to signing agreements, you'll bring in the partners that become real acquisition channels.
• Turn partnerships into growth. Design referral programs, co-marketing, events, and integrations that measurably drive new customers - and kill what doesn't work, fast.
• Build the playbook, not follow one. There's no established channel to inherit. What works in Germany will be defined by what you build and will shape how Finom does partnerships everywhere.
• Be Finom's face in the ecosystem. Represent Finom and network at industry events and inside the German fintech and SME scene.
• Pull the company behind your channel. Work directly with Marketing, Sales, and Product to get partners what they need and bring German market insight straight to the people building the product.

What We're Looking For

• Native-level German and professional fluent English (our working language) are compulsory
• 3-5 years of work experience , in partnerships, business development, or a related commercial role
• Experience in Fintech, financial services or SMEs is a strong plus
• A hunter's mindset : you enjoy opening doors, building relationships from scratch, and are thrive owning a number
• Strong commercial judgment - you can structure a partnership, negotiate terms, and prioritize based on impact
• Self-starter who thrives with autonomy in a remote, fast-moving environment
• Prior experience working in a Start Up / Scale Up environment is a must
• Nice to have: Italian or French language skills

Don't tick every box? We're looking for exceptional talent above all. If you don't match the exact number of years of experience or haven't worked in fintech before, but you believe you can excel in this role - we strongly encourage you to apply.
