About Us

There are hundreds of thousands of lawyers across Europe — and at Libra, we're transforming how they work. Our AI platform combines deep legal reasoning with cutting-edge generative technology, fundamentally changing how lawyers research, draft, and deliver legal work.

We operate with the speed and ownership of a startup, while being backed by the scale and stability of an established leader. Libra is an independent business unit within the Legal & Regulatory division of Wolters Kluwer, a leading global provider of information, software, and services for professionals. For 180 years, Wolters Kluwer has supported and simplified the work of experts and organizations through innovative solutions, relying today on more than 20,000 colleagues worldwide to bring that vision to life.

About The Role

As a Product Manager (m/w/d) at Libra, you'll own a key area of our AI workspace end-to-end, working closely with Engineering and Design to turn customer needs into shipped features that make a real difference for our users.

This is a unique opportunity to shape the future of legal tech, building intelligent, scalable solutions that empower professionals and transform how they work.

You'll work in a lean, agile environment with direct impact on the product, as part of a highly skilled technology organization and a fast-growing team. It's an ambitious and exciting place to be, where you'll help drive both strategic direction and day-to-day execution. Based at the vibrant Merantix AI Campus in Berlin, you'll be surrounded by a community of AI innovators.

What you’ll do

• Own your product area's roadmap end-to-end, from early discovery through delivery
• Prioritize based on regular conversations with customers and customer-facing teams, combined with usage data analysis
• Act as the point of contact for product requests related to your area
• Work closely with Engineering and Design day-to-day to scope, explore solutions, and deliver features
• Identify dependencies with other product areas early, before they become bottlenecks
• Coordinate with marketing, sales, legal engineering, and other internal teams as needed
• Represent the customer's perspective in trade-off and prioritization discussions

What you’ll bring

Education

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field — technical (e.g. Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems), legal, or adjacent; Master's degree is a plus

Experience

• 2+ years working in product management, with some exposure to owning a customer-facing area of a product
• A track record of helping bring a product idea from early concept to a live, working launch
• Solid technical understanding of AI applications
• Hands-on experience working alongside engineers on technical trade-offs and dependencies
• A genuine interest in the legal field; background in law is a bonus
• Comfortable working in English day-to-day; German language skills are a bonus

Skills

• Entrepreneurial mindset with strong ownership and urgency
• A pragmatic approach to problem solving. You move a vague problem toward a concrete, measurable result on your own initiative, and you keep the customer's needs front and center
• Accountability and commitment to high-quality outcomes
• Team-oriented — you factor in what's good for the broader product organization, not just your own priorities
• Curious and hands-on with AI tools, and able to apply them pragmatically in your work
• Excellent communication in English; German is a plus

What We Offer

• Permanent employment from day one.
• Real impact: See your ideas go from concept to shipped feature, shaping a product used by law firms and legal teams across Europe.
• Vibrant workspace: Work from a modern office, surrounded by a community of AI startups, researchers, and innovators at the Merantix AI Campus in Berlin.
• Flexibility: Work remotely up to 3 days per week (= 8 days a month in the office) with flexible working hours, or from anywhere within the EU for up to 20 days within a twelve-month period.
• Rest & time off: 26 vacation days.
• Show your commitment: 1 additional day off per year for your volunteer work (Volunteer Day).
• Support for development: E-learning via LinkedIn, online language training with goFluent, and other training and development opportunities.

In just over a year, we’ve established ourselves as Europe’s fastest-growing legal AI company by partnering with leading law firms, corporate legal departments, and publishers. As part of Wolters Kluwer’s Legal & Regulatory Division, Libra is building the operating system for modern legal work — and you can help us write its next chapter.

Our Interview Practices

To maintain a fair and genuine hiring process, we kindly ask that all candidates participate in interviews without the assistance of AI tools or external prompts. Our interview process is designed to assess your individual skills, experiences, and communication style. We value authenticity and want to ensure we’re getting to know you—not a digital assistant. To help maintain this integrity, we ask to remove virtual backgrounds and include in-person interviews in our hiring process. Please note that use of AI-generated responses or third-party support during interviews will be grounds for disqualification from the recruitment process.

Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.
