About this job

*About Us**

At Deutsche Telekom, we don’t just connect people; we build the cognitive digital infrastructure of the future. Within our Group Technology – Technology Vendor Portfolio Management unit, we steer the high-impact alliances that drive next-generation innovation. As networks transform into self-optimizing, cloud-native ecosystems, we are embedding artificial intelligence and automation into our core infrastructure.

Are you a visionary strategist who understands how AI and next-gen telecom tech converge? Do you have the executive presence to operate alongside industry leaders? Join us and lead our technology partner ecosystem into the age of intelligent connectivity.

*Your Responsibilities: What You Will Do**

As a Senior Partner Manager (m/w/d), you will take full ownership of relationship building and lifecycle management at the C-level and Top-Management level, both internally across the DT Group and externally with global tech leaders.

Executive Relationship & C-Level Management: Act as the primary strategic interface, establishing and nurturing high-impact relationships with executive stakeholders and C-level counterparts.
AI-Driven Infrastructure Innovation: Define future demand by identifying joint search fields, advanced automation use cases, and AI-centric network initiatives.

Matrix & Cross-Group Project Responsibility: Take end-to-end project and program leadership for large-scale partner initiatives—from high-stakes negotiation to commercialization and retirement. You will steer complex, virtual, and international project teams across the global DT Group without direct disciplinary responsibility.

Commercial & Financial Governance: Develop robust business plans, align complex financial planning activities, set up partner governance, and define KPIs to ensure mutual success.

Performance Monitoring: Drive executive-level steering presentations, closely monitor target achievement, and coordinate the internal rollout of partner products.

*Your Profile: What You Bring**

You are a highly analytical professional who bridges the gap between complex network technology, business economics, and future-ready AI applications.

Qualifications & Core Experience:

**Education**: A university degree (Master's or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Communication Engineering, Economics, Computer Science, or a comparable qualification.
**Track Record:** At least 7 to 10 years of proven professional experience in Strategic Partner Management, Alliance Management, or Tech Procurement within the telecommunications sector.
**Telecom Infrastructure Expertise**: Deep, long-standing experience in partner management for network infrastructures, including Mobile (5G/6G), Fixed-Line, IP & Transport, Core Network, Service Platforms, and Cloud, specifically mapping to Deutsche Telekom's ecosystem.
**Future-Tech Literacy**: A strong understanding of the business potential of Artificial Intelligence, machine learning applications in networking, and automation trends, allowing you to identify cutting-edge tech trends.
*Skills & Competencies:**
**Virtual Team Steering:** Exceptional track record in organizing, motivating, and leading large-scale programs within virtual, international, and matrixed teams across multiple corporate stakeholders.
**Agile & Classic Cooperation**: Mastery of both classical and agile project management methodologies to coordinate cross-functional programs.
**Intercultural Competence**: Extensive experience navigating international business landscapes and managing senior executive relationships across diverse cultures.
**Analytical Power:** Outstanding conceptual and analytical skills with a collaborative, solution-oriented working style.
**Languages: **Fluency in German and English (written and spoken) is mandatory for this high-level role.
*What We Offer (Why Deutsche Telekom?)**
**Hybrid Work**: Flexible working hours and state-of-the-art mobile working options based out of our headquarters in Bonn.
**AI & Tech Innovation**: Work at the absolute forefront of network intelligence, automation, and infrastructure evolution.
**High-Level Exposure**: Drive visibility at the top-management level across one of Europe’s leading telco providers.
