Terms and Conditions
For StarIn subscriptions. As of 29 September 2026.
1. Scope and provider
1.1 These Terms and Conditions apply to every contract for a paid StarIn subscription that you conclude on starin.pro. Your contract partner is Bosio UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Kolonnenstraße 8, 10827 Berlin, Germany, registered at Amtsgericht Berlin (Charlottenburg), HRB 275598 B, represented by its managing director Lorenzo Bosio (“StarIn”). Contact: finance@starin.pro, phone +49 176 42890305.
1.2 The offer is aimed at consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB (German Civil Code). If a business orders, these terms apply too; the withdrawal rules then do not.
1.3 Conflicting terms of yours do not apply, even if we do not expressly object to them.
1.4 The contract languages are German, English and Portuguese. The version in the language in which you ordered governs.
2. What we provide
2.1 StarIn provides digital tools to prepare for the German job market: the Job Fit Score for job postings, the CV and cover letter generators, interview preparation and the Job Tracker. What your plan includes is shown when you order.
2.2 Some features use artificial intelligence. The results are suggestions and may contain mistakes. You check them before you use them. Each feature has reasonable daily usage limits; they are shown in the app.
2.3 StarIn does not promise a job, a visa or a residence permit, and does not place you in jobs. We do not give legal advice. Information on visas and residence is general orientation; for your own case, contact a lawyer or the competent authority.
2.4 We aim for continuous availability. Maintenance and disruptions beyond our control can cause interruptions. Your statutory rights for defects in digital products remain unaffected.
2.5 We may develop the tools further, and we change them in a way that keeps the features you paid for available to you. Reasons for a change include bug fixes, security, legal requirements and further development of the tools. This costs you nothing extra. If a change affects your access or use more than slightly, we inform you in good time in text form (email), and you can cancel the contract free of charge within 30 days of the notice or of the change (§ 327r BGB).
Job Board
The job ads shown here come from third parties: job portals, public interfaces and employer career pages. We are neither the advertiser nor an intermediary.
We show an excerpt and a link, and the full text when the source allows it. Brands and logos shown belong to their owners.
We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness or timeliness of third-party listings. Hiring claims go only to the employer; request removal at finance@starin.pro.
3. Account and conclusion of contract
3.1 To use StarIn you need an account with an email address. Your details must be correct. You use the account yourself only and do not share your login details.
3.2 The plans shown on the website are not a binding offer. The button of a plan takes you to the payment page of our payment provider Stripe. There, right before you order, you see the main features of the service, the total price, the term, the automatic renewal, the cancellation terms and the information on your right of withdrawal. You can review and correct your input there before you complete the order, or leave the page without ordering. By clicking “Pay and subscribe” you make a binding offer.
3.3 The contract is concluded when we accept your offer. This happens when the payment on the payment page succeeds. We then activate your plan and send you the order confirmation by email. If the payment fails, no contract is concluded.
3.4 How you conclude the contract: choose a plan, review your details and enter your payment data on Stripe’s payment page, tick the box for the immediate start (§ 356 BGB) and click “Pay and subscribe”. We store your order data. We send you the contract information with the order confirmation by email. You can view and save these terms on this page at any time.
4. Plans, prices and payment
4.1 There are two plans: the monthly plan at 39 € per month and the annual plan at 199 € per year. All prices are final prices and include statutory VAT (currently 19%).
4.2 Launch offer: the first 1,000 active paying subscribers pay 19 € per month or 99 € per year, for as long as their subscription continues without interruption. The price shown when you order applies. After a subscription has ended, a new order is charged the price shown then.
4.3 Mentoring bonus: the first 100 annual subscribers get one 30-minute mentoring video call with Fernanda. StarIn will agree a time with you by email or through a booking link. You need to book the call, or ask us for a time by email, within 6 months of buying the annual plan; after that, the bonus expires. If StarIn offers no free slot within that period, the bonus stays valid until StarIn offers one. The bonus is not transferable and cannot be paid out. It lapses if the contract ends through withdrawal before the call.
4.4 You pay in advance, at the start of each period, with the payment methods offered in checkout. Payment runs through our payment provider Stripe. You receive the receipt by email.
4.5 If a payment fails, we inform you and try the payment again. Until the payment succeeds, we may pause access to the paid features. The statutory rules on late payment apply.
4.6 The price of your existing subscription does not change as long as it continues without interruption. A later price increase applies only to new orders. The exception is a change in the statutory VAT rate: then the final price changes by the tax amount.
5. Term, renewal and cancellation
5.1 Monthly plan: the term is one month. After that the contract renews for an indefinite period. You can cancel at any time; the cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month, and you use StarIn until the last paid day.
5.2 Annual plan: the term is twelve months. In the first year you can cancel the renewal at any time; you use StarIn until the last paid day. Without cancellation, the contract then continues for an indefinite period at the same price. From then on you can cancel at any time with one month’s notice. We pro-rate the annual price for the time after the contract ends: StarIn refunds the full months you have not used.
5.3 You cancel with the button “Cancel contracts here” at the bottom of every page, without logging in. You give your name, your email address, the contract and the type of cancellation. We confirm receipt by email straight away, with date and time. You can also cancel by email to finance@starin.pro.
5.4 Both sides keep the right to terminate for good cause (§ 314 BGB).
5.5 After the contract ends, your account with the free features stays until you delete it. Documents you have already downloaded remain yours.
6. Right of withdrawal
6.1 As a consumer you can withdraw from the contract within 14 days without giving a reason. The withdrawal notice with the model withdrawal form is on the “Widerrufsbelehrung” page (withdrawal notice). You can also withdraw online: use “Withdraw from contract” at the bottom of every page.
6.2 StarIn activates your plan right after payment. For that we first need your express request that we start before the withdrawal period ends, and your confirmation that your right of withdrawal expires once the contract has been completely performed. You give both on Stripe’s payment page, with a box that is not pre-ticked, before you click “Pay and subscribe”; without this tick the subscription cannot be concluded. If you then withdraw within the 14 days, you pay an appropriate amount for the service provided up to then, calculated by the days of the paid period you have already used (§ 356 Abs. 5, § 357a Abs. 2 BGB). We refund the rest.
6.3 We refund to the original payment method, at the latest within 14 days of receiving your withdrawal. In clear-cut cases we end the contract and refund automatically; otherwise we review your withdrawal by hand and get back to you.
7. Liability
7.1 We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, for defects we fraudulently concealed, for guarantees we gave, and under the Product Liability Act.
7.2 For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an essential contractual obligation. These are obligations whose fulfilment makes the contract possible in the first place and on which you can regularly rely. Our liability is then limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this kind of contract. Otherwise we are not liable for slight negligence.
7.3 This also applies to our legal representatives and vicarious agents. Mandatory statutory liability, for example under the General Data Protection Regulation, remains unaffected. Your statutory rights for defects in digital products (§§ 327 ff. BGB) also remain unaffected.
7.4 You are responsible for the accuracy of your details and for how you use the results, for example in an application.
8. Usage rights and your content
8.1 For the term you receive a simple, non-transferable right to use StarIn for yourself. Sharing access, reselling and automated scraping are not allowed.
8.2 Your content stays yours. You only allow StarIn to process it to provide the service, including passing it to the providers named in the privacy notice. You may use the documents you create with StarIn freely.
8.3 In case of misuse we may block access if there is good cause. We hear you first where possible.
9. Data protection and dispute resolution
9.1 How we process personal data is described in the privacy notice.
9.2 We are not willing and not obliged to take part in dispute resolution proceedings before a consumer arbitration board (§ 36 VSBG).
10. Final provisions
10.1 German law applies. If you are a consumer with your habitual residence in another country, the mandatory consumer protection rules of that country remain unaffected. The statutory rules on jurisdiction apply.
10.2 If individual provisions are invalid, the rest remains valid; the statutory rule applies instead (§ 306 BGB).
10.3 Changes to these terms apply to existing contracts only if you agree.
