Tasks

Who we're looking for

We're looking for a demand gen leader who can own the full pipeline function — strategy and hands-on execution. This is an individual contributor role to start: there's no team yet, so you'll be building and running the engine solo before we scale it. You're an operator first — you stay in the mechanics yourself rather than defaulting to a hiring plan or strategy deck.

Your responsibilities

Pipeline and MQL targets — you set the number and you hit it, yourself

Full-funnel strategy across paid, email, lifecycle, and campaigns — but you pick 2-3 channels to go deep on rather than spreading thin across everything, and can defend what you chose not to do

Budget allocation and performance reporting

Marketing automation and attribution infrastructure — built and maintained by you, not delegated to an agency or consultant

Current, specific point of view on account/lead segmentation — what tools and criteria you'd use today

Alignment with sales on lead quality, handoffs, and follow-through

As the function proves out, you'll help define and hire the team around you

What you bring to the table

6–8+ years in B2B SaaS demand gen
Comfortable being fully hands-on and solo from day one — no team to delegate to yet
Comfortable owning paid performance and systems, not just strategy decks — you can walk us through your last bid strategy change, not just the outcome
Hands-on with modern GTM tooling beyond point solutions — Clay, agentic workflows, API/data orchestration between your stack and CRM. Using ChatGPT to structure a JSON payload doesn't count as automation depth
Strong with data — you can build a dashboard, read attribution, and make a budget case
A track record that spans more than one account, product, or motion — one flagship win isn't proof the playbook generalizes
Experience with PLG or product-led + sales hybrid is a strong plus — but you're equally comfortable building demand from zero, with no inbound signal to lean on
Hands-on with HubSpot or equivalent; knows when to automate and when to keep it simple
High ownership and grit: You operate like a founder of your function. You don't wait for direction, and you finish what you start.
Sharp written communication: You can brief content teams, pitch leadership, and write the kind of clear copy that both humans and LLMs reward.
