Introduction
Do you have a strong interest in the European Start-Up and Venture Capital ecosystem and a solid foundation in finance or accounting? Are you eager to explore how AI and modern automation tools are reshaping financial processes - and do you want to be the person who actively drives that change? Please apply to join our Fund Team as an Intern in our Berlin office!
Founded in 1997, Earlybird identifies and backs exceptional early-stage companies on a pan-European basis - supporting them through their growth and development phases and providing financial resources, strategic support, plus access to an international network and capital markets. Through two separate strategies, Earlybird focuses on tech-enabled businesses in fintech/ insurtech, enterprise software, and deep tech (energy, food, and space) while Earlybird Health focuses on improving patient outcomes. Earlybird additionally has a Growth Opportunity Fund for follow-on investments, and a pro-bono impact initiative, Vision Lab. With EUR 2.5 billion under management across fund streams and a history of 9 IPOs and 35 trade sales, Earlybird is among Europe’s most established and active venture capital firms.

In this role, you won’t just support our team in day-to-day fund operations. You’ll bring a fresh perspective on how we do things. You’ll work alongside experienced finance professionals, get hands-on exposure to portfolio management and early-stage startup valuation, and apply your theoretical finance knowledge in a real fund environment. At the same time, we want you to actively challenge our existing processes: identify where AI tools, automation, and modern fintech can make our workflows smarter, faster, and more robust.
