Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Development Sales/Applications manager to be based in Germany, Austria, or Switzerland. Candidate will also assist in selling & support existing network of value-added distributors in EUROPE.

Key Responsibilities

• Business development of Avalon Vision products in EUROPE via phone, electronic media, and/or on-site sales and service visits. Initially this will include application review and quoting Avalon vision systems, installation and training users at different levels.
• Requires strong interpersonal communication skills, both written and face-to-face.
• Must use good problem-solving skills, knowledge and application of engineering and automation principles, including equipment and dexterity in the use of Windows-based computer systems and software.
• On-site customer service including installation of Avalon vision systems, troubleshooting and training.
• Knowledge will be applied to Avalon vision system integration with other equipment including injection molding machines, robots, PLC’s, and other automation systems.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Electronic or Automation Engineering
• 5+ years of professional experience in the injection molding industry
