About this job

Introduction

As the top Swiss e-commerce platform, with a crew of over 4’000 across Switzerland, Germany, and Serbia, Galaxus is poised to move into new markets. Our driving force is our determination to keep challenging the status quo. That’s why we’re on the lookout for characters who’re passionate about making genuine improvements. We’ll give you the freedom and trust to make an impact, to grow with us and to be yourself. Act galactic. Be you. Be you.

Our training centre is a learning galaxy that provides our logistics employees with everything they need to perform at their best. We offer a comprehensive range of development opportunities, helping both new and experienced employees grow into highly skilled logistics experts.

Does this sound like an exciting opportunity for you as our future Manager Quality Training? If you feel inspired, challenged and motivated, apply now and impress us with your application.

Your tasks

You take professional and people responsibility for a team of five trainers and foster their continuous development.
Working closely with various stakeholders is part of the daily business, including Recruiting, Planning, all Logistics departments and the Senior Quality Training Professional, ensuring strategic and conceptual alignment within your area of responsibility.
You are responsible for the smooth execution of onboarding for our logistics employees, ensuring that every new team member receives a first-class introduction to their role.
You oversee the site-wide skill matrix and plan and deliver training to ensure identified learning needs are effectively addressed.
You create training scripts for logistics processes based on our Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the didactic and methodological approach of our Learning Galaxy, ensuring consistent and effective training delivery.

You ensure the quality of our training measures through regular evaluation and continuous improvement.

Together with Senior Quality Training, you design training sessions and workshops for employees as well as train-the-trainer programmes, while actively contributing to the further development of the department.

You have solid practical experience in logistics processes or quality management, backed by relevant professional education at least at the level of a Higher Professional Education qualification.
Extensive experience in adult education, ideally complemented by further training in didactics/methodology (e.g. SVEB 2 or a Federal Diploma of Adult Education). Experience in designing and delivering training programmes is essential; experience in creating training scripts is a plus, or you are willing to develop this skill.
Several years of leadership experience and an empathetic leadership style, with the ability to motivate, coach and develop a team.
A results-oriented approach, with the ability to set priorities and make clear, well-founded decisions.
A proactive and hands-on mindset, combined with clear and convincing communication skills.
A structured and analytical way of thinking, with a strong understanding of processes and a practical, hands-on mentality.
Build trust through consistent and reliable actions
Use creativity and initiative to solve problems and achieve goals
Values, not empty words: Cooperative, innovative, piratesque, responsible, ambitious – these five values are what we practise and preach
Courageous thinking: We encourage everyone to think on their feet, and love it when they come up with bold or edgy ideas
Uncomplicated approach: Simplicity is at our core.

We avoid the unnecessary and focus on what really matters – from overcoming challenges to celebrating our shared successes
Flexibility and freedom: Every position is possible with an 80% workload
Rapid growth: With us, growth is a continuous journey. We also support you with EDU points (1600 € and 2000 minutes) per year for your professional development so there’s no risk of you getting stuck in a rut
28 days of holiday, exclusive employee conditions in our online shop, a shuttle service and other benefits

Diversity is our culture.

To build the best team, we want to draw from the full spectrum of talent out there. This means people from all walks of life have the same opportunities with us, regardless of their ethnicity, religion, disability status, gender identity, sexual orientation or age. We believe true inclusion means everyone is welcome and each contribution is valuable.
