Strategic Buyer (m/f/d) Procurement Real Estate & Facility Management, temporary

Key responsibilities of the role will include:

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives in RE&FM within the Generali group
• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with business goals and compliance standards
• Manage supplier relationships, including negotiation, performance evaluation, and risk mitigation
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, legal, operations, etc) to ensure procurement alignment with project needs
• Drive cost optimization and value creation through market intelligence and benchmarking
• Support contract management and ensure adherence to procurement policies and procedures
• Monitor procurement KPIs and prepare regular reporting for senior stakeholders

Profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of experience in strategic procurement, preferably in an international environment
• Proven experience managing sourcing activities for real estate services, facility operations, maintenance, and capital projects
• Familiarity with vendor management in RE&FM categories such as cleaning, security, catering, HVAC, and energy services
• Proficient in procurement platforms (e.g., SAP Ariba, Ivalua)
• Strong knowledge of strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supplier performance management
• Familiarity with risk assessment and compliance frameworks
• Understanding of RE&FM-specific KPIs, SLAs, and sustainability metrics
• Experience with lease administration, property lifecycle cost analysis, and FM service benchmarking
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities as well as high attention to detail and ability to deliver under tight deadlines
• Proactive, adaptable, solution-oriented mindset and team player with cross-functional collaboration experience
• Ability to influence internal clients and drive cost optimization without compromising service quality
• Fluent in English (written and spoken) / German, Czech, or other European language is a plus
