As a working student, you’ll contribute to the development of our medical robotics framework, gain hands-on experience, and work on technologies with the potential to improve patients’ lives.

This role is based in Munich and requires regular on-site presence at our office, so it’s best suited to students who live in or near Munich and enjoy working in person with the team.

Your Responsibilities

Develop robotics software components in C++ for medical imaging and robotic applications.
Support the integration of robotic systems, simulation environments, and application workflows.
Develop tools and prototypes to explore, test, and improve robotic workflows.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of engineers, researchers, and clinical experts.
Identify, debug, and resolve technical issues throughout the development process.
Document your work to support knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

Your profile

You’re currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or a related field.

You have strong programming skills in C++.

You’re interested in robotics, medical imaging, computer-assisted interventions, or related technologies.

You can learn quickly, work independently, and turn ideas into working solutions.

You have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

You have a good command of English. German is not required.

Familiarity with Git, CI, or simulation environments is a plus.

Knowledge of ultrasound, medical imaging, or machine learning approaches is a plus, but curiosity and the ability to learn quickly are most important.

Join an international, highly skilled team where your ideas and contributions matter.
Work on meaningful projects in medical research and technology, with the potential to improve patients’ lives.
Gain hands-on experience with medical software development, including regulatory requirements and standardized development processes.
Contribute to cutting-edge research, with opportunities to publish successful findings.
Enjoy the flexibility and agility of a start-up combined with the stability of an established company.
Benefit from flexible working hours and the option to work remotely or from our Munich office.
