Business Development Manager DACH – Dealer Channel (m/f/d)

Business Development & Expansion

• Identify and onboard strategic dealer partners and/or distributor across garden and pool channels.
• Define expansion priorities by country, region, and channel type.

Commercial Leadership

• Own pricing architecture, margin models, and commercial terms for dealer channel.
• Define and monitor KPIs such as sell-in, sell-out, inventory turns, margin, and service performance.

Cross-Functional Leadership

• Work closely with Product, Marketing, Supply Chain, and After-Sales to ensure:
• Successful product launches
• Dealer training & certification programs
• Strong service ecosystems
• Shape dealer-focused marketing concepts (POS, promotions, demo programs, events).

Team Leadership

• Lead and develop Business Development Managers across regions.
• Set clear objectives, coaching standards, and performance expectations.
• Act as a role model for structured, data-driven channel management.

Your profile

Experience & Skills Required

Must-Have Experience

• 10+ years in dealer-based sales or business development
• Background in either:
• Garden / outdoor power equipment / robotic lawn mowers
• Pool equipment / pool robots / technical pool products
• Proven experience managing multi-country dealer networks in Europe

Core Competencies

• Deep understanding of indirect sales and dealer economics
• Strategic thinking combined with hands-on execution
• Ability to manage complexity across different dealer types and cultures

Languages & Mobility

• Fluent English (mandatory)
• At least one major European language (German, French, Italian, Spanish, Swedish, Norwegian preferred)
• Willingness to travel frequently across Europe
