A society in transition and a focus on people are of central importance at Design PF. For our renowned Transportation Design program, we are looking for you – a visionary and passionate design professional who embodies both creative problem-solving and the ability to translate innovative conceptual thinking into future-oriented products of the highest level. You will approach and teach the topic of mobility from a holistic perspective
You play a key role in the ongoing and progressive development of the program, contribute your own creativity and take on responsibility in academic self-governance

You are forward-thinking, highly innovative, technologically savvy and have specific areas of focus, such as design strategy, transportation interiors, sustainability or connected mobility, etc.
You are a distinguished professional with several years of experience at companies in the automotive, transportation, or mobility sectors and have an international network
You are artistically outstanding within your field and you can demonstrate this through published and/or award-winning projects, honourable mentions, patents, or professional publications
You possess excellent leadership qualities and process management skills
With your teaching aptitude, you enjoy working as part of a dedicated team to train our students to become open-minded, responsible, and free-thinking designers
In an international environment, you are fluent in English and are willing to learn German (B2) in the near future

Qualifications for the position include, among other things, a completed university degree in the field of design, academic qualifications, and at least five years of professional experience, at least three of which must have been gained outside the academic sector. Further details (cf. § 47 Landeshochschulgesetz Baden-Württemberg) can be found in an information sheet which can be downloaded from the university's homepage. Pforzheim University aims to increase the proportion of women in its staff and therefore urges qualified interested women to apply. Disabled applicants with the same qualifications have priority.
