Site Description - Munich, Germany
Welcome to Computational Pathology Munich, one of over 400 sites here at AstraZeneca, providing a collaborative environment where everyone can feel comfortable to be themselves-a value that is at the core of AstraZeneca's priorities. To help you maintain your best self, here's a sneak peek into some of the things we provide: after-work events, lunch & learns, a spacious and sustainable office working environment, events, family and childcare support and of course the Alps around the corner for hiking, biking and skiing.
We are looking for an experienced
Senior Software Test Engineer (m/f/d)
with a focus on Python Test Automation
to join our Computational Pathology team in Munich.
The Senior Software Test Engineer (m/f/d) will lead testing and validation activities for software supporting diagnostic AI and medical image analysis. This is a hands-on, automation-first role in which testing is predominantly automated in Python, with only a small manual component.
You will own the testing of one or more tools end to end, determining what needs to be tested and to what depth based on risk, building and maintaining the automated test suites that provide evidence, and producing the documentation required in a regulated environment. You will work across the full software testing lifecycle with developers, data scientists, product owners and quality assurance in projects subject to GxP and medical device standards.
Your responsibilities
What Will Set You Apart
Candidates with strong automation experience but less regulatory experience are also encouraged to apply, provided they already have solid risk-based testing fundamentals.
