The thesis includes:

• Improving the design and efficiency of temperature measurement on the low-current target
• Using drafting and simulation tools such as CATIA and ANSYS
• Assembling and testing the sample holder
• Further design of a passive solution for high current target applications

## Your Profile

• Bachelor’s degree and currently enrolled in a Master’s program in engineering, physics, or a closely related field
• Interest in the field of materials and work across disciplines including part design
• Willingness to work in radiation areas
• Very good command of written and spoken English with extensive vocabulary is required (at least B2 level according to the [CEFR](https://go.fzj.de/languagerequirements)), ideally supported by a certificate confirming the language level
