Technical Project Manager (m/f/d) Aerospace Composites

Your tasks in detail and by priority:

• Manage the full lifecycle of new COPV development projects from concept and design through prototype manufacturing and serial production.

Accountability: Own the project. Own the outcome.

• Develop sufficient technical depth to challenge assumptions, facilitate decisions, and guide teams toward practical and robust engineering solutions.

High Performance: Good decisions early prevent problems later.

• Manage project activities, resources, schedules, and priorities while ensuring all stakeholders remain aligned on goals and timelines.

Togetherness: Complex products are built by aligned teams.

• Act as the central point of contact for development projects and ensure stakeholders have a clear understanding of project status, risks, and required decisions.

Candor: No surprises. No hidden risks.

• Ensure complete and structured documentation of decisions, changes, requirements, tests, and project milestones throughout the product development process.

Your Profile

Must-Haves

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in technical project management or a comparable leadership role within a technical development environment.
• Experience coordinating interdisciplinary teams across multiple technical disciplines and stakeholders.
• Strong technical understanding and the ability to challenge engineering decisions and guide teams through complex technical problems.
• Excellent project management, planning, and organizational skills combined with experience using project management tools.
• Fluent English (C1-C2) and a hands-on, proactive mindset with a strong sense of ownership.

Nice to have

• Previous experience as an engineer or product developer before transitioning into project management.
• Knowledge of composites, product development processes, cost tracking, process improvement, or experience in a startup or high-growth environment.
