Operations Manager (m/w/d)

Introduction

As a successful and rapidly expanding construction company within the eps Group, FEPS GmbH has been offering a wide range of exciting and innovative construction and infrastructure services worldwide for more than 25 years. Whether to support defence forces, for rapid disaster response, or for construction projects off the beaten track. We plan, build, and operate camps and temporary infrastructure. In doing so, we manage camp infrastructure, including power generation, water supply, and sanitation in a wide variety of environments.

For our current project across Germany, we are in urgent need of an Operations Manager to systematically sync materials, crews, and machinery across multiple active sites so projects finish on time and without costly budget overruns.

Tasks

• Resource and Workforce Allocation: Match the right crews, machinery, and material deliveries to active sites based on real-time project phases
• Financial Oversight and Budgeting: Monitor project budgets, track cost-to-complete figures, and control expenses
• Safety and Quality Compliance: Enforce strict adherence to safety laws, conduct site inspections, and maintain legal accountability for on-site safety outcomes
• Subcontractor Management: Establish contract frameworks, monitor vendor performance against milestones, and resolve disputes
• Process Improvement: Standardize workflows, inspection protocols, and documentation practices to boost overall company productivity and commercial value
• Stakeholder Communication: Coordinate with clients, architects, engineers, and project managers to align daily execution with company goals

Profile

• Completed degree in construction management, civil engineering or business administration with a focus on construction. Alternatively, extensive hands-on experience as a site manager or project manager.
