In order to support the intersection of **Aerospace Engineering** and **Software Development** , Airbus is looking for a
# **Software Development Engineer for Flight Physics Capabilities / Loads & Aeroelastics**
# **(d/f/m)**
##
The Flight Physics domain is at the core of aircraft architecture and system integration. Within our team, we develop, maintain, and advance our internal **in-house simulation software for aircraft loads & aeroelastics**.
You will ideally be working in **Hamburg**, the largest production site for civil aircraft. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe offers unique perks, such as the option to commute by ferry, allowing you to experience the special flair of Hamburg where vibrant cosmopolitan culture meets maritime legacy.
As our team operates across international engineering hubs, **Bremen (Germany)** and **Filton (UK)** are also possible locations for this role. Across all sites, close collaboration and team spirit are central to how we work, which is why regular on-site presence at your chosen location is required.
## **Your Mission**
You will be a key developer for our internal loads simulation software. In this role, you will bridge the gap between flight physics domain knowledge and software engineering. You will participate in all phases of the software lifecycle—from defining simulation requirements and architectural design to implementation, automated testing, and deployment. Your code will directly enable engineering teams across Airbus to calculate and evaluate aircraft loads accurately and efficiently.
