This is how You Make a Difference

We are looking for a Sales Manager SaaS and Service to drive the growth of our software (SaaS) and service-based offerings within the Bus/Rail segment. You will identify, develop, and close new business opportunities with public transport operators and integrators, while building long-term customer relationships around our data platforms, maintenance services, and subscription-based solutions. This is a remote/flexible role with regular travel to customers and r2p sites.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Identifying and developing new business opportunities for r2p's SaaS and service portfolio (e.g., data platforms, remote diagnostics, maintenance and support contracts) within the rail/bus sector
• Managing the full sales cycle: prospecting, needs analysis, solution positioning, commercial proposals, negotiation, and contract closing
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing customers to drive renewals, upsell, and cross-sell of SaaS and service offerings
• Collaborating closely with product management and engineering to translate customer needs into compelling value propositions
• Developing and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline and accurate forecasting in the CRM
• Representing r2p at industry events, trade fairs, and customer meetings
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform go-to-market strategy
• Reporting regularly on sales performance, pipeline status, and market insights to management

What you Bring to the Table

• Several years of B2B sales experience, ideally with SaaS, software, or service-based business models
• Experience in rail, bus, transportation, or a related technical/industrial sector is a strong plus
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and managing complex sales cycles
• Strong consultative selling and negotiation skills, with the ability to build trust with technical and commercial stakeholders
• Comfortable working independently in a remote setup, with willingness to travel regularly to customers and r2p locations
• Familiarity with CRM tools and structured sales processes
• Fluent in English; additional languages (German, Spanish, or others relevant to r2p's markets) are an advantage
