We enable anyone to be an investor. Our mission is to grow investing opportunities for all European customers and businesses. By empowering FinTechs, banks, and wealth managers to offer investment products, we help create financial well-being for their customers.
lemon.markets is a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform: simple digital access to capital markets through a single API. Our API-first infrastructure abstracts brokerage complexity with a well-documented API, a self-service customer operations portal, and a clear regulatory framework, so partners can launch customer-centric, compliant products in weeks, not months.
As part of the dwpbank group, we share a clear goal: we enable anyone to be an investor by making investing in capital markets more accessible. By combining dwpbank’s long-standing expertise and stability with lemon.markets’ technology-first mindset and speed, we are building a modern, modular securities services ecosystem. Together, we offer faster time-to-market, modular services, and a modern customer experience that helps financial service providers stay competitive and respond more flexibly in a changing market.
Your Mission:
Join lemon.markets at a pivotal growth moment and help scale the infrastructure powering investment products in Europe.
As we currently run two GTM motions, your focus will lie on our direct lemon.markets sales motion, owning the sales process end-to-end for key prospects: from targeting new accounts, to pitching our platform, leading deep qualification and solution discussions, and closing strategic partnerships across FinTechs, Banks, and Wealth Managers.
This is a highly hands-on role. You will work cross-functionally with Product, Partnerships, Engineering, Legal, and the broader Growth team to make a complex product tangible for prospects and to drive momentum across multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
Let’s be direct: they say you can’t get a great sales person who is highly ambitious for success, strategic, but also humble and a clever team-player at the same time. Challenge accepted?
You will:
Own the sales process end-to-end for key prospects, from prospecting and discovery to shaping, aligning, and closing commercial proposals.
Take full ownership of your accounts and proactively drive momentum across each stage of the sales cycle, with the persistence and creativity needed to move complex opportunities forward.
Build strong relationships with key champions, decision-makers, and ecosystem players, while involving internal experts from Product, Engineering, Partnerships, Legal, and Compliance at the right moments to support effective solution design.
Create and manage a healthy pipeline through targeted outbound prospecting, industry events, referrals, and strategic network-building across FinTechs, Banks, Wealth Managers, Insurers, and other relevant financial players.
Lead structured discovery and qualification processes, evaluate business cases, and help prospects identify the right commercial and operating model for their investment offering.
Continuously improve our sales processes, tooling, and ways of working to help build a scalable, efficient, and best-in-class sales setup.
You will be successful in this role if:
Expanding access to investing excites you. Our mission resonates with you, and you are motivated by helping bring modern investment products to market.
You bring B2B sales experience within the German and broader European market and have led full-cycle sales motions from prospecting, through commercial negotiations, to closing across segments such as Financial Service providers, Brokers and FinTechs.
You are a proactive builder of pipeline. You know how to source and develop opportunities, navigate industry events and networks, and combine research, outreach, and relationship-building to create momentum.
You are comfortable selling into complex and regulated environments. You can navigate multiple stakeholders, understand nuanced requirements, and translate technical or operational complexity into clear value for prospects.
You are adaptable in your approach. When something does not land, you reassess, refine, and try a different route rather than defaulting to a fixed playbook.
You communicate confidently with a broad range of stakeholders, including senior decision-makers, and are fluent in both German and English; additional European languages are a plus.
You bring ownership, curiosity, and a strong bias for action. You seek feedback, learn quickly, and enjoy working cross-functionally to build long-term partnerships.
How we take care of you:
🚀 Compensation package: We offer you a competitive salary, based on your experience and the value-add you bring to lemon.markets.

🏢 Hybrid work setup: You can work from anywhere in Germany within a hybrid model. At the same time, in-person collaboration is a key part of our culture. 📈 Grow with us: We take your personal development seriously! You’ll get regular mentorship and stretch opportunities, a clear career development framework with frequent feedback conversations as well as an annual learning budget.
🌱 People & culture : You’ll feel our culture in the small things, like polaroids from our lemoneers’ first day, Friday food market strolls at Maybachufer, and our monthly new-joiner breakfast. But also in the bigger things: celebrating the onboarding of new partners, growing our teams, and owning a strong discussion culture.
💛 Perks & benefits: We choose benefits that add actual value. We sponsor a Deutschlandticket for employees on unlimited contracts, plus 50% off on Beatvest - our partner for financial education and investing.
🏝 Workation: Get out of here! At lemon.markets you can work remotely from anywhere in the EU for up to 10 consecutive days at a time, and up to 60 days per year in total.
