HYROX is a global sports event series that combines running and functional fitness training in a unique race format. Founded in Germany in 2017, HYROX has evolved into a worldwide fitness movement with events across five continents, attracting tens of thousands of athletes every season.
As a CRM & Lifecycle Marketing Manager (m/f/d) at HYROX, you will play a key role in engaging and retaining our global fitness community. You will take ownership of our B2C lifecycle email communication, replacing one-size-fits-all campaigns with highly targeted, data-driven messaging tailored to our diverse athlete personas. Utilizing behavioral insights focused on our B2C products (e.g., local events, HYROX Youngstars) and leveraging AI-driven tools, you will build impactful automated email journeys, optimize campaign operations, and actively contribute to expanding our CRM technology setup to drive Customer Lifetime Value and fuel our global growth.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
B2C Lifecycle Journeys: Design, build, and optimize automated end-to-end email campaigns tailored to different customer segments across the entire athlete lifecycle to maximize engagement, drive repeat participation, and increase overall Customer Lifetime Value.
Segmented Email Communication: Shift outreach away from mass messaging toward targeted, highly personalized email campaigns based on user behavior, preferences, and engagement levels.
Persona-Driven Strategies: Create custom messaging and campaign strategies for specific HYROX B2C personas (e.g., first-time race participants, travelers, spectators).
AI-Driven Optimization & Automation: Leverage AI tools and features to enhance campaign efficiency and performance.
Behavioral Data & Analytics: Analyze user behavior and email performance metrics to derive actionable CRM insights and continuously optimize campaign performance through systematic A/B and multivariate testing.
MarTech & Data Integration: Drive the integration of new data sources, ensuring a seamless connection between the Data Terminal and our Campaign Management Tool.
YOUR PROFILE
Experience : 3+ years of hands-on experience in CRM, Lifecycle Marketing, or Email Marketing Automation (ideally within sports, fitness, lifestyle, or fast-scaling B2C environments).
MarTech & Email Tools: Proven track record working with CRM and Email Service Providers (ESPs) / Campaign Management tools and understanding data mapping/integrations with data platforms.
AI Familiarity: Practical experience with or a strong interest in using AI-powered marketing tools to streamline workflows and scale campaign output.
Data-Driven Mindset: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret user behavior data independently, evaluate email metrics, and translate insights into strategy.
Segmentation & Personalization Skills: Demonstrated experience building dynamic audience segments and executing persona-specific email strategies.
Communication: Excellent written and spoken English skills; a passion for fitness and the HYROX brand is a strong plus.
