The PACE is fast. The expectations are high. The contribution matters. Working at TYTAN is more than a job, this is a mission. We push boundaries, think big, and hold ourselves to the highest standard. Our mission and values guide everything we do, and we're looking for people who are driven by ownership, embrace challenges, and are energized by meaningful work. If you're motivated by impact and thrive in dynamic environments, you'll fit right in.
At TYTAN , we aim to set a global standard in autonomous air defense with AI-driven, cost-efficient systems that counter unmanned aerial threats at scale. We protect people. We protect critical infrastructure. We protect European sovereignty.
We are looking for a Senior Seeker Specialist to define and develop the sensing capabilities of our next-generation autonomous systems. You will lead the selection, integration, and optimization of onboard sensors, including daylight cameras, thermal imagers, radar, and other targeting payloads, ensuring reliable target detection, tracking, and engagement.
Your Roadmap to Make an Impact
Guide new EO/IR sensor designs in collaboration with hardware and systems engineering teams.
Evaluate and select EO, IR, radar, laser, and multi-sensor solutions.
Develop target detection, tracking, and classification concepts.
Specify sensor performance requirements, including range, field of view, stabilization, and SWaP constraints.
Drive integration of sensors into gimbals, payloads, and autonomy systems.
Conduct trade studies, system performance analyses, and supplier evaluations.
Support in ground testing, validation, and flight trials.
Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Optics, Mechatronics, or similar.
Experience in missile seekers, guided weapons, EO/IR payloads, targeting systems, gimbals, ISR sensors, or defense electronics.
Strong knowledge of:
Electro-optical (EO) cameras
Thermal / IR imaging systems
Radar and RF sensing
Sensor fusion and target tracking
Experience translating mission requirements into sensor architectures and payload designs.
Hands-on mindset with the ability to take ownership of critical technical decisions.
Ideal Candidate?
You have worked on missile programs, loitering munitions, ISR payloads, targeting systems, or stabilized gimbals and understand how to answer key questions such as:
What sensor suite is required for the mission?
EO, thermal, radar, or multi-mode seeker?
How should sensors be integrated into the autonomy stack?
How can detection performance be maximized within strict size, weight, and power constraints?
You'll play a key role in shaping the sensing and targeting capabilities of our next-generation autonomous systems.
