# Research Associate / PostDoc (m/f/x)
(subject to personal qualification, employees are remunerated according to salary group E 13 TV-L)
starting **January 1, 2027**. The position is limited until February 29, 2028. The period of employment is governed by § 2 (2) Fixed Term Research Contracts Act (Wissenschaftszeitvertragsgesetz-WissZeitVG).
The candidate will be in charge of developing a novel generation of computing architectures based on ion computing. Development of novel switchable ultracapacitors and microsupercapacitors for iontronic applications, synthesis of porous carbon materials and porous membranes, development and adaption of new electrolyte formulations, electrochemical characterization, impedance spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry, integration into a team of PhD and master students, scientific publishing, data management.
