Lead Implementation & Delivery (f/m/d)

Tasks

You'll own the entire post-sale delivery, from signed deal to a customer who's live, confident and getting real value. Our customers are enterprise manufacturers, so the accounts you own are complex and technically demanding from day one. As an early hire there's no existing playbook — expect to blend hands-on implementation, delivery operations and testing product-market-fit hypotheses directly with customers.

• Own the post-sale journey, from handover through to stable, value-delivering adoption
• Build the adoption framework for enterprise accounts, and define what "first value" means
• Keep a current view of every account: check-ins, early risk signals, retention plans
• Handle escalations yourself, at both operational and management level
• Own the Sales-to-delivery handover and keep capacity visible and realistic
• Develop the lightweight processes that make delivery repeatable as patterns emerge
• Lead and develop your team, and shape how Delivery is structured as we grow
• Test the product-market-fit hypotheses Sales brings back, and feed findings into Product and Go-To-Market

What this looks like in your first six months:

• Months 1–2 — pick up two live enterprise implementations and own them end to end, hands-on, so you know where the product and the process actually break. In parallel, agree with our data delivery manager how work gets queued and what jumps it.
• Months 2–3 — take over the Sales-to-delivery handover and make capacity visible enough that commitments get made together, with the numbers in front of everyone. You and Sales settle most trade-offs between you; dropping a customer, moving a committed date or declining a deal comes to the founders.
• Months 3–4 — propose what "first value" means for an enterprise account and the timeframe we hold ourselves to, and get it agreed with Sales and leadership.
• Months 4–6 — turn what you've learned into the first delivery playbook covering handover, onboarding, implementation and account review. Bring at least two validated product-market-fit findings back to Product and Sales.

Requirements

• 4–6 years in technical implementation, delivery, project lead or technical operations roles, at a B2B company serving manufacturing or industrial customers
• Experience as an early hire building implementation or delivery processes from scratch in a startup or scale-up
• Experience owning the interface between Sales and a technical delivery team: handover, capacity oversight, and escalations you resolved independently
• Enough technical depth to get fluent fast in discrete manufacturing, factory planning or industrial automation. You don't need to have done this exact thing before, but you do need to hold a credible conversation with a manufacturing engineer within a few months
• Fluent written and spoken German and English. We work in English internally; customer work happens in German

You're eligible to work in Germany — EU/EEA citizenship, or an existing work or residence permit. We aren't able to sponsor visas for this role.

You'll fit if:

• You enjoy the conversation where Sales wants more than delivery can carry, and you're the one who finds the way through.
• You're pragmatic and action-first: you build the process as the pattern emerges, rather than designing the system before you understand the reality
• You have commercial instinct: you notice what's working and bring it to Sales as an expansion opportunity
• You're a fast learner with strong situational awareness, equally comfortable on a shop floor and in front of a senior stakeholder

Benefits

• Real ESOP — actual shares, not virtual ones
• 30 days' holiday
• Deutschlandticket
• Based in our Düsseldorf office, with the flexibility to work from home
• Regular customer site visits — a genuine mix of factory floor and desk, not travel every week
• Real ownership from day one, with a direct line to founders and leadership on decisions that matter
• The chance to define what this function becomes as we grow
• A diverse, international team

Apply with your CV — no cover letter needed.

How the process runs:

• Written questions by email — about 20 minutes of your time
• Short intro call — 30 minutes
• Deep-dive with Felix and the delivery team — 60 minutes
• Meet the team, then offer

The written questions are how we get to know how you think before anyone sits in a room. They're the reason we don't ask for a cover letter.

We are an employer that actively lives equal opportunity. We're committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace and welcome applications from people of all backgrounds. It doesn't matter where you're from, what religion you belong to, your gender, who you love, how old you are, or whether you live with a disability — you're welcome here.
