QNX- Field Application Engineer (Industrial Automation/Robotics/Medical Devices)

You will have:

You are someone who thrives at the intersection of engineering and customer engagement . You enjoy solving complex technical challenges, but you also understand how technology decisions influence business outcomes. You can sit with a customer’s engineering team one hour and help a sales account manager close a deal the next. You are curious, adaptable, and motivated by helping customers build world‑class products.

• Experience in interfacing between customers and engineering in both a commercial (sales) and technical capacity.
• Working experience in software sales, ideally in the embedded industries.
• Demonstrated software development, design and architecture experience with a focus on embedded system development, real-time programming, or similar low-level programming with C, Assembly, or C++
• Experience working in Linux development environments (QNX experience would be an asset but not essential).
• Industrial, Robotics or Medical segment vertical market experience
• Broad general knowledge of the high-tech and the embedded industry
• Thorough knowledge and ongoing awareness of current market concepts and practices
• General and strategic business management, creative and visionary planning, analysis and decision-making, effective leadership, communications and customer relations skills
• Strong and influential interpersonal and relationship-building skills
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business value.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to remain calm and effective in high‑pressure customer situations.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or similar, or equivalent meaningful experience
• Technical experience in RTOS solutions from competitive providers such as Wind River, Green Hills, or similar vendors would be deemed an asset but not essential
• Familiarity with functional safety standards (IEC 61508, ISO 13849, IEC 62304) is a strong asset.

Compensation Hiring Base Salary Range:

€88,320.00 - €115,920.00

Please be advised that the compensation hiring range indicated herein is provided solely as a good-faith estimate of expected base compensation for the position. The actual compensation offered will be determined at the time of hire and is contingent upon multiple factors, including but not limited to the candidate’s qualifications, relevant experience, demonstrated skills, and results of assessments conducted during the hiring process.
