Senior Field Application Scientist -Luminex and Immunoassays

support a variety of customer inquiries

• Proactively contributes to the strategic development of innovative plans, models, standards and

techniques

• Independently addresses issues of increased complexity for customers and internal partners
• Able to determine individual priorities and help set strategic objectives of the team
• Provides training and helps coach and mentor team members
• Prepares and present seminars to a wide array of audiences
• Partners with regional, and global teams to support the organization in the achievement of the

regional commercial, service and support goals

• Solves customer escalations effectively through in-depth troubleshooting
• Remains up to date with product and state of the art scientific know-how
• Works in line with our support & service competencies, processes, and company values
• Facilitates distributor FAS capabilities through training, coaching, and knowledge transfer, fostering ownership and self-sufficiency.

Experience/Qualifications/Qualities:

• Ph.D. or Master in Cell Biology or Immunology and relevant experiences
• Several years of experience working with laboratory techniques; cell separation, flow cytometry, cell culture, immuno assays
• Experience of working with human tissue and whole blood
• Proven understanding of immuno assay and preferably Luminex workflows and working in a cGMP

environment

• Experience in presenting technical materials in written and verbal form
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical problems
• Strong communication skills
• Fluent in English and at least one other European language (Italian, Spanish, German, or French)
• Demonstrated ability to read, analyze, and interpret common scientific and technical reports
• Able to travel throughout Europe, Middle East and Africa territory (up to 80% travel)
• Living close (max. 1h driving) from a big international airport
