As we're expanding into the UK market, we are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Intern to join our team in Berlin.

About us

Heating our buildings causes around 25% of Europe's CO₂ emissions. Decarbonizing it depends on installers – and there are far too few of them to keep up with the growing demand for heat pumps.

autarc is building the operating system for energy installers across Europe: software that makes planning, designing and installing heat pumps faster and more digital. Our goal is to help plan and design 1 million heat pumps by 2030.

Founded in Berlin and backed by Y Combinator (S24), we're a team of 60+ people across Sales, Tech and Operations, already serving more than 2,000 customers.

Your tasks

You will be working alongside the GTM Lead and the Sales team with hands out tasks around our expansion.

Hands on support of our sales team in their day-to-day work, including customer contact
Develop our sales decks and marketing material
Take part in events, fairs and customers visits on-side in the UK

Support the development of AI and automation tools that improve our effectiveness

The role has a 75/25 split between operational tasks & strategic topics.

Bachelor's degree in business, economics or software engineering
Previous startup, consulting or VC experience
Fluent in English
Based in Berlin with a willingness to work hybrid (office in Mitte)

This internship has a specific focus on sales, business development and product expansion.

Duration: 4-6 months

If your application is successful, you will participate in the following:

Screening call with someone of the sales team
Culture fit call with Thies (Co-Founder)
Take home case study (approx. 1 hour)
Final on-site interview with the team
