Introduction

Your Impact

As we're expanding into the Italian market, we are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious Italian speaking Intern to join our team in Berlin.

About us

Heating our buildings causes around 25% of Europe's CO₂ emissions. Decarbonizing it depends on installers – and there are far too few of them to keep up with the growing demand for heat pumps.

autarc is building the operating system for energy installers across Europe: software that makes planning, designing and installing heat pumps faster and more digital. Our goal is to help plan and design 1 million heat pumps by 2030.

Founded in Berlin and backed by Y Combinator (S24), we're a team of 60+ people across Sales, Tech and Operations, already serving more than 2,000 customers.

Your tasks

You will be working alongside the GTM Lead and the Sales team with hands-on tasks around our expansion.

Hands on support of our sales team in their day-to-day work, including customer contact
Translate and develop our sales decks and marketing material
Take part in events, fairs and customers visits on-side in Italy

Support the development of AI and automation tools that improve our effectiveness

The role has a 75/25 split between operational tasks & strategic topics.

Bachelor's degree in business, economics or software engineering
Previous startup, consulting or VC experience
Fluent in Italian and English
Based in Berlin with a willingness to work hybrid (office in Mitte)

This internship has a specific focus on sales, business development and product expansion.

Duration: 4-6 months

Grow with us: As part of a fast-growing, YC-backed climate tech startup with an ambitious team.
Real ownership: Drive your work from idea to impact.
Low ego, high trust: No blame, open feedback, collaboration over hierarchy.
Be part of the energy transition: Help bring more heat pumps and solar to homes every day.
Hybrid work in Berlin-Mitte: 3 days together in our office near Weinbergspark, 2 from home. Need more flexibility? We'll find a way.
Modern equipment: MacBook and 27″ monitor.
Annual team retreat plus regular team events.
Mobility: Dance e-bike or Deutschland-Ticket.
Fitness: Urban Sports Club membership.

If your application is successful, you will participate in the following:

Screening call with someone of the sales team
Culture fit call with Thies (Co-Founder)
Take home case study (approx. 1 hour)
Final on-site interview with the team
