Café Marketing Manager (f/d/m)

Hi!

We are Coffee Circle, Germany’s leading sustainable specialty coffee roastery based in Berlin. We offer the world’s finest coffee and equipment to over 150,000 customers online and in our Cafés, driven by our goal to make high-end coffee experiences enjoyable and accessible to all. We foster direct trade relationships with coffee farmers worldwide, pay high prices for the coffee beans, and ensure everyone involved in the value chain gets treated fairly and respectfully. For every kilogram of coffee we sell, we invest € 1 through our Coffee Circle Foundation e.V. to help support sustainable improvements in coffee-growing areas, such as providing clean drinking water, hygiene training, and coffee labs. With over 5 million euros raised in donations, we cannot wait to increase our positive impact with you on our team, one cup of coffee at a time.

Your role:

• Execute café-related communication to customers, both in our cafés and online, in line with our brand positioning – from POS materials to newsletters, website content and Google Maps.
• Make sure our cafés’ offerings are easy to discover, understand and purchase. You’ll shape how we present them on the shelf and at the POS, and contribute to product ideas, seasonal offers, bundles and menu optimization.
• Plan and bring to life café campaigns, promotions, events and new openings that create a great customer experience and get people excited to join in.
• Build local partnerships and activations that connect our cafés with their neighborhoods and give customers more reasons to come back.
• Report to our Head of Marketing and work closely with Retail Operations, Brand, Design, CRM and Category Management to turn ideas into reality.

Your profile:

• You bring at least 2-3 years of experience in a generalist marketing role, with hands-on responsibility for offline, physical products or retail environments.
• You understand how product presentation, communication, and storytelling can shape the customer experience and drive sales.
• You combine creative ideas with a hands-on mindset and enjoy taking concepts from idea to execution.
• You have a strong eye for brand, design and detail, and know how to keep communication clear and consistent.
• You’re comfortable working across teams, coordinating different stakeholders and keeping things moving.
• You’re curious, commercially minded and always looking for ways to make the café experience better.
• You communicate confidently in English; German is a strong plus.

What you get from us:

• Hybrid working for our office team: we have a good balance between working remotely and spending time together in the office, with Berlin as our shared basecamp.
• You can work remotely for up to nine weeks per year without being physically present in the office.
• Flexible working hours, with core working hours from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
• Your Deutschlandticket for public transport is fully covered after your probation period.
• The opportunity to join our company pension scheme after your probation period.
• Discounts on our coffee and equipment, as well as access to online discount platforms such as Corporate Benefits and FutureBens.
• Access to platforms supporting mental and physical well-being, such as nilo. After one year with the company, employees also gain access to the pxtra benefits platform, which includes options such as Urban Sports Club Business M.
• The best coffee is always available to you, plus quarterly coffee vouchers so you can enjoy your favourite coffee at home with the people you love.
• A friendly and enjoyable working environment, as well as regular cross-functional team events.

We are a purpose-driven organisation. For us, growth means increasing our social impact within coffee-growing communities around the world while opening up a whole new world of coffee for our customers.

We strongly believe in authenticity and empathy as the foundation for building strong and innovative teams. We foster a humble and playful mindset and aim to create a continuous learning experience for everyone on our team.

Regardless of your ethnic background, skin colour, ancestry, religion, gender, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability or gender identity: if the job description sounds like a good fit for you, we can’t wait to hear from you.
