Senior Venture Lead (Berlin)

AT ALMEDIA, YOU’LL:

• Push harder, get further — this isn’t a 9–5. We highly reward intensity.

• Fully present — we’re 5 days a week in the office to build the energising momentum we need.

VENTURE LEAD (BERLIN)

Salary range: €140,000-180,000/annum

We’re looking for a Venture Lead who will act as a seasoned architect of our growth, owning the journey from initial insight to global scale for our next generation of products. In this role, you will build the "machine" that launches "Unicorn-level" ventures, setting the strategic foundation for massive market expansions and new business lines like Cashback.

WHAT YOU'LL DO 🎯

• Incubate & Launch Ventures: Transform validated opportunities into "Unicorn-level" market pilots, securing signed lighthouse clients and executive-approved business models.
• Establish Venture Operating Models: Architect the governance, funding, and decision frameworks that empower R&D squads to ship milestones autonomously without executive escalations.
• Forge Strategic Partnerships: Negotiate and integrate flagship advertiser partnerships into the core product experience to elevate Almedia's global market positioning.
• Scale High-Performance Teams: Build a world-class venture organization by hiring and mentoring key leaders, setting extreme quality bars, and coaching managers to deliver outcomes independently.
• Drive P&L & Playbook Excellence: Take full ownership of venture business impact by running recurring data reviews and codifying playbooks that prioritize our highest-leverage bets.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING 💡

• Venture Building Track Record: Proven experience owning a multi-venture thesis in a hyper-growth environment, with a history of making disciplined scale/kill decisions.
• Operational Architecture Mastery: Expertise in building high-velocity delivery engines that translate high-level strategy into weekly execution plans using Lean Startup and Design Thinking.
• AdTech & Growth Fluency: Deep understanding of architecting analytics systems (LTV/CAC, retention, incrementality) while ensuring privacy and compliance readiness.
• Enterprise Leadership: Experience negotiating complex commercial terms and representing the company effectively with clients, investors, and stakeholders.
• Bonus: Success in launching or scaling a major product in the Rewarded User Acquisition or Fintech landscape.

WHAT MAKES YOU A GREAT FIT 🌟

• Own Everything: You model extreme ownership and initiative, taking full accountability for the venture P&L and ROI from initial concept to global scale.
• Raise the Bar: You are a natural problem-solver who standardizes excellence through playbooks, removing blockers hands-on to elevate the entire organization's standards.
• Move Fast: You thrive on the intensity of the build, making fast, evidence-based decisions at high velocity to maximize venture value and speed-to-impact.

WHY ALMEDIA? 🎁

• Scale With Almedia: Grow alongside a startup that has been profitable from day one.
• Central Berlin Office: Work from a fully-stocked modern office built for collaboration, accessible from all around Berlin.
• Other Benefits: Transport subsidy, breakfasts and lunches, language learning, Urban Sports Club, and more.

We believe in fostering talent, evaluating all skill levels during the hiring process, and providing a clear path for growth. Almedia is an equal opportunity employer. We embrace and celebrate diversity, and encourage individuals from all backgrounds to apply.
