What you need to be successful

Background and skills:

At least 5 years of proven experience as a backend-focused software engineer, designing and building production-grade services and systems.

• Strong programming skills preferably with JVM-based languages like Java or Kotlin, along with familiarity with relevant backend frameworks and tooling such as Spring.
• Solid understanding of software architecture patterns (e.g., microservices, event-driven architectures, REST/gRPC APIs).
• Practical experience with cloud-native development, with strong expertise in AWS.
• Experience working with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code, and familiarity with DevOps/SRE principles.
• Appreciation for the importance of code quality, automated testing, documentation, and observability.

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Golang and Python.
• Experience with deploying and maintaining Kubernetes workloads.
• Familiarity with AI-related AWS services, particularly SageMaker, Bedrock, or similar tooling, is highly desirable.
• Prior experience with AI/ML platforms is a strong plus - or a demonstrated eagerness to learn and grow in this direction.

We’re looking for a seasoned backend engineer eager to apply their expertise in the context of Edge networking. Someone who will both bring a mature software engineering mindset to the team and contribute hands-on to the delivery of platform components that enable edge networking capabilities across the company. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in building production systems who is excited to expand their impact in the direction of AI-enabling, modern cloud infrastructure. You’ll join a team of passionate, cross-functional engineers working to shape scalable, reusable systems that democratize access to AI technologies, and grow alongside them in the process.
