Introduction

Product: Occibo is an AI-powered self-service SaaS platform that helps solo children’s book creators turn manuscripts into print-ready books through guided editing, instant illustrations, and production-safe layouts.

Your tasks

Role: We are looking for a creative and motivated UX/UI Design Intern for a mandatory internship / Pflichtpraktikum . You will help design a clean, intuitive, and high-conversion web app for authors, illustrators, and children’s book creators.

You will work closely with software engineers on user flows, wireframes, prototypes, UI components, usability testing, and product design improvements .

Tasks

You’ll help with:

Designing UX/UI for an AI-powered web SaaS product
Creating wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and UI assets
Improving user flows for editing, illustration, layout, and book production
Supporting user research and usability testing
Contributing ideas to improve onboarding and user experience

Tasks

Collaborate with our engineering team to brainstorm and create user-friendly interfaces.

Assist in conducting user research and usability testing to gather feedback.
Help design wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for web SaaS UI..
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving user experience.
Support the preparation and maintenance of design documentation and assets.

We welcome fresh ideas, strong visual taste, and a practical mindset for clean, user-friendly product design.

Enthusiasm for UX/UI design and a keen eye for detail.

Good to have AI tooling knoweldge
Basic knowledge of design tools like Figma or Adobe XD.
Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills to collaborate with the team.
Currently enrolled in a relevant study program or similar educational background.

Location: Berlin, Germany — hybrid, remote options considered
Internship type: Mandatory internship / Pflichtpraktikum, unpaid
Duration: 3–6 months
Start date: ASAP
Time commitment: Around 35 hours/week

Free seat in Coworking place in Berlin, Neukolln or work fully remote in Berlin(1 day working together) or nearby areas.

Lunch is on us when we meeting and working together once in a week.
