If you are looking for a leadership position where operational delivery, financial performance and customer satisfaction come together, this role gives you the opportunity to lead our Project Management Team and take responsibility for aircraft maintenance projects from the initial project handover through successful aircraft redelivery.

These are your tasks

Lead, manage and develop the Project Managers and Project Leaders, allocate projects and ensure an effective distribution of workload
Oversee aircraft maintenance projects from preparation and contract handover through aircraft redelivery, with responsibility for schedules, budgets and customer expectations
Maintain full visibility of ongoing hangar projects, consolidate daily status reporting and proactively escalate critical risks, delays and major findings
Ensure robust project planning across manpower, tooling, materials and logistics in close cooperation with Production, Planning, Engineering and support departments
Act as the senior escalation point for project and customer matters and promote clear, proactive communication throughout the project lifecycle
Contribute operational expertise to bids, tenders and contract reviews, including feasibility, timelines, risks and cost estimates

Monitor project budgets, cost performance and resource utilization and support commercial follow-up and final billing where required

Ensure compliance with aviation regulations, safety standards and internal procedures while driving productivity, profitability and continuous improvement

Relevant technical or aviation qualification, with a background in aircraft maintenance preferred
Proven experience in aircraft maintenance and the management of complex projects
Demonstrated leadership experience with responsibility for teams and project delivery
Strong understanding of maintenance organization processes in an EASA Part-145 environment
Sound knowledge of project planning, manpower and resource coordination, cost control and management reporting
Confident communication and stakeholder management skills in an international customer environment
Very good command of written and spoken English; German is an advantage
Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management systems such as WINGS
Structured decision-making, resilience and a solution-oriented leadership approach
Class B driving licence
Eligibility to work in Germany
Ability to meet the requirements of a background check in accordance with the German Aviation Security Act
